Livia has saved my life during periods

By Johanna-Liis P., Estonia, Verified Reviewer

Livia has saved my life during my period. A little bit about my periods: they are painful, like hard to stand up painful. And sometimes I blackout, collapse from the pain. It is hard to live with painful menstruation and do daily things.

At first, when I heard about Livia, I was super superstitious. I didn't believe such a thing existed and didn't have the courage to buy it. But when the pain was too much to handle, I decided to give it a try. After all, there was a money back guarantee. But ever since I ordered and started using Livia, my life has become easier. I can work while wearing Livia, no more days off and planning when I have to take days off or how long. I can do stuff, go out, and be pain-free. Although sometimes there is little pain while using Livia, but it is bearable pain, I don't have to take painkillers.

Livia is super easy to use. Just apply to the region that hurts (front or back), set the right stimulation, and let it work its magic.

I recommend Livia to women who are struggling with pain. It does really work. I haven't regretted ordering Livia. Best buy for me.

Helped manage chronic dysmenorrhea

By Tee T., New York City, NY, Verified Reviewer

I have had chronic dysmenorrhea for a while now and with passing time, have had to increase my pain medication dosage. But ever since I started using Livia, this has changed. It has helped a lot with cramps and decreased my medication intake. I can now get myself to go to work without missing a day, earlier I was unable to even leave my bed.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Pros and Cons

Great product, not so good customer service

By Sian P., Middlesbrough, United Kingdom, Verified Reviewer

The Livia works quite well and I have EXTREMELY painful periods, however, I joined on the subscription plan and after a year haven’t received any of the gel pads I should have (that’s twelve packs) yet they still took the payments. I’ve contacted them three times and have only just finally got a reply when I threatened to cancel the payments and sue them for my money back, and now they’ve promised to send me the pads, I’ll just have to wait and see if they turn up.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Reduces pain

Small and discreet

Rechargeable

Doesn’t kill my pain all the way

The company didn’t send me new gel pads for over a year but took the payments anyway

The charge could last longer at higher levels

Helps with endometriosis pain

By Haley F., Providence, RI, Verified Reviewer

I have had Livia for about a year and I love it. It is genuinely one of the only things that helps with my endometriosis pain. I docked one star because the battery life has decreased significantly over the year I've had it. However, if you are part of the subscription program like I am, they will replace your device every three years, which is super nice and fixes that problem.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Relieves endometriosis pain without medication

Subscription plan sends you replacement gel pads

Have to wait to turn it up to full intensity

Battery life has decreased significantly

Good product

By Samantha B., Michigan, Verified Reviewer

I ordered this product after I experienced 4-5 years of major period cramps. I’ve tried many things. At some point, I couldn’t move at all. I need around 800mg of prescribed ibuprofen to get through a few hours. After I started to use Livia I only need about 200-400mg usually. After using Livia for a good few hours I’ll try to adjust the placement of the flower pads. They have an amazing ambassador program I was invited to and I thought it was a good outreach to their customers. I really enjoy being involved with a company that really helped me.

Length of Use: 3–6 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Ease of use

Involvement with their customers

Ambassador program outreach

People with bellies might have trouble (I'm size 2X and it’s not too difficult to get on)

Needs charges

Great product

By Lauren H., Reno, NV, Verified Reviewer

I found out in 2018 that I have severe endometriosis and it immediately explained my constant, horrible pain that I am in every single day. I’ve tried meds, an IUD, and even an endometrial ablation before I even found Livia, but when I found it, I was still skeptical because nothing else had worked. I eventually purchased Livia and it is a lifesaver. It helps calm my pain and my episodes the way nothing else did. It’s a great product for anyone with severe pain during a period of even all of the time, like me. My only complaints are the gel pads don’t last very long before you need new ones and I’ve had some of the cords break from use.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Helps the pain

Can use every day

Small and not noticeable to others

Need new gel pads relatively fast

Cords breaking

Great little machine

By Kayleigh D., United Kingdom, Verified Reviewer

Very happy that I made the purchase a few years ago, I’ve been using it consistently for years. It doesn’t get rid of the pain completely, but it makes it more bearable, and means I’m not spending the whole week curled up in a ball. I love that the flower gel pads are so easy to replace, and stay stuck in place all day if necessary. I only wish the battery lasted a bit longer, it can’t make it through a full day at work for example.

Length of Use: 2+ years

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Helps with cramps

Small and discrete

Rechargeable battery

Short battery life

Clip isn’t very strong

Carry case is a little small

Phenomenal for pain

By Maria H., Dayton, OH, Verified Reviewer

I have endometriosis so I have very painful periods, to the point where I can't walk some days. Livia has helped to lessen my pain to the point where I can walk and function easier on my period. I also use Livia to alleviate pain when I am having ovulation cramps and it works great.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Portability

Multiple EMS levels

User-friendly

Not able to use when charging

Long charging time

Good at controlling the pain

By Adrianna P., New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

Livia’s device is very good at controlling the pain. Two things I wish would change - longer leads for the flower pads for more versatility in fitting different body shapes, and more levels of TENS intensity. There’s a point where it goes from low to what feels like very high. I wish there was an in-between.

Length of Use: 3–6 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Fast acting

Discreet

Pain relief without medication

Short leads on the TENS pads

The plug is on the top, so it poked my belly

The device skin collects lint easily

It's an okay product

By Samantha L., New Lisbon, WI, Verified Reviewer

It's an okay product. It does help some, but I wouldn't personally recommend it to just anyone. I have super heavy periods and this just takes the edge off so I can actually function. I don't like that I feel like my insides are jumping all over.

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

The idea

The different vibration settings

All the different skins

How my insides feel like they are wiggling all over
