Helps somewhat

By Dianna C., California, Verified Reviewer

I have super bad period pains. This helps it, it's not a complete solution, but it helps distract me at least! I have to turn it up super high for it to do anything, and then I can feel the pulses, but the pulses are better than the pain.

Length of Use: 1–2 years

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great product

By Simone Z., Germany, Verified Reviewer

Great product, although it‘s quite expensive. The accu is working for about 5 hours. The pads are unique, so you cannot use others.

But it‘s working quite well and solves pain.

Works wonders but should be available to buy separate

By Anna R., Sweden, Verified Reviewer

Both my sister and I get really bad period cramps, and Livia works wonders for both of us. It's tiny and practical to take with you everywhere and the battery lasts for 6-8 hours. I've been really satisfied with the product however (after 3 years) my device has stopped working properly, taking quite some time to charge, and has started glitching if I move too fast. According to the website, the device lasts between 2-5 years I think, which is fine, but it is not possible to buy just the device itself, which is a disappointment since all of the other parts in the package-deal also are sold separately as spare parts. I am really happy with the product but I don't know if I want to buy the whole package-deal again, which is kind of expensive, since it's just my device that has stopped working.

Length of Use: 2+ years

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Relieves pain

Small, practical to take with you

The device is not available to buy separate

The portability is great!

By Katyryna C., Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

Very impressed! My favorite thing about the Livia is that it’s super portable! You can wear it anywhere, working out, traveling, etc. It’s discreet and easy to bring places. The battery also lasts a full day which is perfect!

Length of Use: 2+ years

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Portability

Battery life

Easy to use

The flashing light is visible through some clothes

You can only get white electrodes

The electrodes break pretty easily and need to be replaced often

Grateful for Livia

By Vanessa V., Puerto Rico, Verified Reviewer

It helped me to continue my normal life, almost forgetting my period. I have the worst period cramps since I was 11 years old, having bed rest and strong medications to alleviate the pain. Now with Livia and sometimes Advil or Tylenol, my pain goes away.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Helps me to continue my normal life

Alleviates my pain

No need for strong medication

I can’t sleep with it

I need to have it on 24 hours on my period and its battery dies in 10 hours

Livia is a lifesaver

By Nikkii O., Oregon, Verified Reviewer

I have always experienced extreme cramps that leave me crying on the couch and nothing seemed to help. That is, until I bought the Livia. As soon as I turned it on, the cramps lessened to a hardly noticeable ache and my mood heightened. The brain fog from the pain cleared as well. My only complaint about the product is how quickly the sticky pads lose their ability to adhere.

Length of Use: 2+ years

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

The easily changeable electric stimulation.

The clip to hold it on clothes without it being seen.

Its general stealthy design.

Gel pads lose ability to adhere quickly.

Isn't the most comfortable of things to wear as a slightly larger woman.

A helpful device

By Jessica S., Oregon, Verified Reviewer

It's not magic but it helps!

It's not magic and I still have some discomfort, but the worst of the pain is gone when I use my Livia. I've had it for over a year and I use it nearly every month, I've even traveled with it. It's small, discreet, and easy to use. Ordering tip: buy extra sticky pads! They get gummy and worn out quicker than I expected.

Length of Use: 1–2 years

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for everyone

By Kendall H., Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, Verified Reviewer

Livia is a chemical-free pain reduction device that has helped me manage monthly cramps. Like a mini TENS machine, it works via electrostimulation of the muscles to help them relax and distract you from the pain. Different levels of intensity make it easy to use for any pain thresholds as well.

Length of Use: 3–6 months

Kicks cramps to the curb

By Michelle L., Port Saint Lucie, FL, Verified Reviewer

Livia has been incredible for reducing my PMS cramps and allowing me to live my best life. I used to have to take prescription pain killers to be able to function for my 12-hour shifts but now I don't even take Tylenol!

Livia for me has a lot of potential

By Melanie W., Munich, Germany, Verified Reviewer

It doesn't take away the pain fully for me, but it makes it easier to get through it and wait for the painkillers to kick in - if they do.

I can't give 5 stars because of an issue I have with the connection between the cable and the device. It needs to be connected in a specific angle to work and under clothes that's not always a given, so sometimes I don't have the stimulation due to my clothes pressing the cable into a wrong angle, and out of nowhere it gets back. That's a bit annoying.

Also, it is hard to purchase Livia in Germany, but other than that I hope Livia will grow and get better and better, because I think it is an important topic and it isn't okay for women to suffer during their period once a month...

Keep it up!

Length of Use: 1–2 years

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

It lessens the cramps for me

It is finally something for period pain, which is a big taboo still

It is discrete

The connection between the pads and the device isn't stable for me

It sometimes falls off my pants when I move too much

The shipping was a bit bad since it took a lot of taxes
