Luminous Silk uses dubious business practices to sell their product. A commercial shows all the actual products at an advertised price of $19.95. Then without your permission, they will slowly extract $200 from your checking account. Then to top it off, you only have 1 month's ability to return, of course, it takes a month to get the product in the mail. So my complaints fell on deaf ears. Thank you for the high tech scam, I enjoyed being taken to the cleaners...

You sent me your product and I plugged it in and it doesn't work, so I contacted your company to get a replacement and was sent another stylus gun. The machine doesn't work, it is not the gun, and onto of all that I tried to call and cancel my subscription and plan to send back. To add insult to injury, I find out I have to pay to send it back to you. I feel scammed and will not recommend to anyone!

No help from customer service in getting a refund so I can return this piece of crap. Website is very misleading about this item costing over $100.00 and that it's a trial period; absolutely a complete scam from the very start.

As far as the system goes, I like it. It is listed as a trial for $39.95 but fails to be upfront with the actual coast of 4 monthly payments in excess of $60.00 each, plus that you are automatically enrolled in their monthly makeup club for another $39.95 per month. Those details must have been buried deep within the fine print. I have written them with my complaint and they quickly responded informing me of the above information. Now I will seek out help and dispute it through my credit card company. Luminess did say I could unsubscribe to the monthly makeup club but if I was late on the system installments there would be a $20 late fee. Do not purchase this product unless you have at least $400 to throw away. I probably have been sucker in good. I will still persist in fighting this. DO NOT PURCHASE!

The offer on a television commercial sounded good - and I reviewed the same offer on their website. I ordered the system and am happy with the product, but the offer is not what it appears to be. I am told by customer service that all the future charges are explained in the terms-and-conditions (small print), but I feel I have been duped. It is also extremely difficult to cancel auto-pay, etc. If only I had read some of these reviews before I purchased! I understand that most negative reviews are deleted so I hope this can actually be published and help someone.

I tried and sent back the product with less than one month of trying, called in and they said they received. AFTER A YEAR THEY CONTACT ME SAYING THEY DID NOT RECEIVE. I had a paper, however, I did not think the return was done and I would need any paper so I cleaned the year papers out for the year as I do every end of the year. Then THIS. Also they put my name on default making a problem on my credit. It is a shame that people like this exist around.

DO NOT BUY BECAUSE YOU ALWAYS WILL BE OWNING THEM MONEY.

Try this for 30 days for $29.99 or return it, the ad said (or some small dollar amount).

When you open the package you find out there are 4 additional installments of $45 each.

When you return it (because it's way too expensive), they don't give you the address so you get to guess. And if you guess wrong like I did, you will be expected to pay a fortune for something you no longer own and be hounded for the money and they will threaten your credit rating.

Although after my first try my skin did look much better using an airbrush, my issue is with the air pen and difficulty of cleaning. You will need to clean this often or it will easily clog and splutter. Upon taking mine apart to clean, I was never able to get it back together...now there are videos and instructions for this, it’s not that simple. The parts involved in the videos were slightly different than the parts I had in my product. It almost seemed a little backwards. After dozens of attempts at reassembling my air pen, I could never make it work again. Hoping it was operator error, I had a friend and even my auto mechanic brother take a shot at it without success. I contacted support only to be emailed the same videos. It was a real bummer. If you want the benefits of an airbrush system, you're gonna get what you pay for. A hundred bucks ain’t gonna cut it.

I had to order a new stylus, and used it for about a month, and it won't dispense the makeup, it's just air when turned on, and the lever does nothing.

Was told there is no warranty, mainly because I had stopped auto-shipment, which is another major rip-off!

I bought my Luminess last year online and was over-charged, in one day they charged me twice, not once but twice, and when I called to cancel my membership, I was charged one more time. I didn't have a problem with them until today, a year later, they charged me again. Not a $20 Luminess, it has cost me more than $300. Not worth it, never will I use their crap!
