Luminess Air

I tried Luminess Air with the extent trial because of a wrong color. I couldn't tell the difference so I called and sent back using the RA number. Noticed that they took a total of $113.55 out my account on June 11th and 12th, 2019. They were so rude and I asked to speak to a manager and he said that she is in a meeting and will call me back in 24 to 48 hours. I sent it back on May 25th, 2019 and it was delivered on May 27th at 9:49 am. They are scammers, get your account number and just withdraw money from your bank. Had to cancel my bank card to get a new one because they don't want to give me my money back.

Do not buy this product. It is awful. Takes 3 times to apply a regular foundation and does not cover as well. Not only do they charge you hundreds of dollars for makeup you don't want after the 30 days, you cannot return the product. They make it sound like you are only paying $19 for the kit, but that is just the price to try it out. If you don't return the styler, they charge you $180 for it. Nowhere did I see that in writing. Must have been in the ultra-fine notes.

Don’t waste your time on this product! I sent my crappy unit back following all of their directions and still did not get my money back. In fact, they started charging my card again after eight months! I have called this company so many times and they have the call center in some foreign country and they lie their butts off about "taking care of you" and do nothing to help. I am calling the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office. I am so mad about this scam! I would never but this stupid product!

Be aware that the current promotion to receive the Luminous Air system for $19.95 (plus free bonus items) is a SCAM. You will be charged $27.94 (shipping is $7.99), which seems reasonable, BUT, if you read the fine print, after 30 days, you will be charged an additional THREE payments of $39.99 (another $120)! This ad and promotion are definitely misleading! BEWARE.

I purchased the Luminess Air and found out that not only was I being billed the $57.31 for three/four months, but an additional $1.08 each time to run my card, which I never agreed to since it was never disclosed in the contract for the reoccurring charges. I had to call back each month to get my $1.08 refunded.

This past month I called Luminess to give them my updated card information since my debit card had changed for the last payment. I requested that they cancel my reoccurring make-up subscription because the Luminess Air product had broken and after all the billing issues I didn't want the product anymore. The gentleman I spoke with around 10/23/18 said that he would send a new Luminess Air and post-pone my make-up subscription for three months. I would need to send my old product back once the new one arrived. The new product never arrived and I saw that a charge on my card for the make-up subscription of $21.60.

I contacted customer service 4 times on 11/21/18 to tried and speak with a supervisor and kept getting hung up on when I told them I want my subscription canceled and my $21.60 back. This is a freaking nightmare.

I responded to a "special deal," offering the system for $19.95. After the system and free gifts are received, I noticed the fine print that stated that I would be billed an additional $39.99 for the next four months for payment of the system. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I am in the process of trying to return the system and gifts. They require the original packing slip to even accept the return, and all packaging or they state that they will charge a restocking fee. They make it very difficult, even though they say they offer a 30-day money back guarantee. Be aware!

Traveling I was told to remove my ziplock makeup bag at the airport and consequently left it, so I purchased Luminess in a hurry. It never arrived because my email to change the address from my credit card address was very difficult. Needless to say, I had to purchase my Clinique, I never used the makeup and arrived home too late to even return it by the 30-day deadline, then was repeatedly charged $50 three times! That's three more times and never even used it! I'm unable to return it and now have all this cake makeup that's useless.

I imagine it would work if you have at least three days to mix and mix and mix some more to find their so-called perfect color. You better be rich for the price of those little bottles too.

Item arrived fast without giving in to their pressure to purchase $9.95 shipping, BUT I did not authorize a recurring charge and they made extra charges against my payment method.

Called my bank who knew about this scam. Called their 800 number (888 793-7474), Kevin, who argued for 10 minutes with a phony explanation of why they can keep charging me and why I should like it. Returned item unused, not worth the aggravation.

Had to file an affidavit at my bank to get rid of this SCAM's repeat charge. STAY AWAY!

I signed up for the product and didn’t like it so I canceled and half of the money was returned. The next month, they charged double and said they have no record of cancellation - even though monies were returned. This company goes by different names and numbers so they get away with repeated charges. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!

I purchased the machine at the advertised price of $29. Or so I thought. Several pages of small print in attached terms stated otherwise. I did not read the dozen or so pages of small print.

I have since been charged nearly $1000!

I requested very early on that they stop sending me their makeup and asked for a refund. They wrote me in December to say that they would provide a full refund and discontinue further billing.

They are LIARS! They did NOT provide a refund and continued to bill me! Total scam!
