This company is a fraud! I paid for an airbrush system and nothing was included that was promised. The only thing I got was the system. No foundation, and nothing else promised. It’s not even listed on my packing slip, but it is on my receipt. Now they refuse to issue me the products they didn’t give me, they will not answer when I call and when I email they tell me to call. When I called, they said email and photo of what I received and it will be replaced. When I did that they said I have to call to fix this and stop using email. Now I can’t get through when I call. They are continuing to charge my credit card so I asked them to take back what they sent and give a refund, but they are telling me I have to pay for return shipping and they won’t give my money back for 8 weeks! Stay away from this company!

I ordered in January 2019. I got my "trial kit" and liked. My airbrush machine was defective, I returned, and they couldn't find my $180+ return...took me four months.

I ordered an older model...and it was sent to the wrong state.

Then I got makeup in mail...with no machine, and to return anything it costs money, they don't have return labels.

I do like the product, but think twice before purchasing...down a long money highway.

After using several times I realized this product wasn't for me. Did not like the product itself as well as not being practical to use. They kept insisting I give it more time and refused to give me a return number. It was a complete hassle and spent a lot of time trying to return. Don't fall for this, it's a scam.

Their 30-day full money back guarantee is a lie! I had to call and ask where my refund was, and they said there was no refund even though they DID receive the product. The unused makeup even when NOT opened, was not refunded. I sent everything back on the promise that the full money back guarantee was true. So after $100 on my card, I talked them into $32.00 refund. The product does not work, regardless of the distance you put from your face, it lands on eyelashes, and brows in little drops, and smears everywhere. I don't like it when companies LIE, and cheat. I will file a complaint anywhere I can find to submit one.

I was desperate to find makeup that looked more youthful and gave me that "healthy glow" and am very happy to say Luminess did that. I am 38, have melasma, and had very bad acne (active and scars). At first, I thought I was reacting to the Luminess makeup, but went to a dermatologist and they said the makeup was fine, and gave me a different prescription and now my face looks great. I like how it applies so evenly, though it took some time to practice and to figure out what colors to use.

The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is because I bought some colors in the silky formula, I didn't know they had matte formulas, and they don't accept returns on unopened products. My only recommendation would be to make sure to watch the training videos before purchasing, so that you know what is available and what you need before placing an order. My airbrush wand did break but they replaced it at a minimal shipping fee (which I think is unfair but I did get a brand new one).

This second wand seems to be much better. I also call them in the middle of the day, when they have lower call volumes, and I make sure to keep very detailed records and people I spoke to about my specific purchases (just like any smart consumer would) in case I ever feel they are overcharging me. I was scared because I first ordered my expensive product THEN read all the reviews, but I can honestly say I have had a great experience with the product (once I mastered the color matching and application) and am getting a lot of compliments at work and even my dermatologist now says that my acne was "in my head."

I am also taking short term antibiotics, and underwent micro needling and chemical peels, so overall am taking really good care of my skin. The makeup, any makeup, can only do so much, but I really think this product is revolutionary and looks beautiful (as long as it doesn't get wet). Try not to cry when you are wearing it, or let rain or water splashes fall on you for about an hour after application. After that, it seems to just meld into the skin and form a beautiful, light, healthy skin looking, coverage.

I ordered the setup. It said it came with foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, and something else. All I got was foundation, and the bottles were only half full. And it takes a lot more than four drops. It is nothing they say it is. Oh, I got the lip palet too. That's all, I sent it back. Don't waste your money.

Of course, you will be drawn to the infomercial it speaks to anyone with flaws! My makeup containers exploded both times (first order and replacement order). I thought this might be intentional, so it buys them time. Because after 30 days you are stuck with the product! I had to pay to return it, and you are not refunded all your money, so $50 later I had a two-day trial.

This machine jams easily and is not easy to clean. If you have any type of peach fuzz on your face, it will accentuate your flaws! The colors are very hard to match, and it takes a lot of makeup to even cover your skin (way more than the directions suggest) they say 2-3 drops try 20! I’m good with makeup and have never had a problem making it look natural and flawless. This is a subscription service, don’t get caught in the trap!

When I read the fine print, the system would cost me over $160.00 plus refill. I never opened the product and when I called for a return, I was told I would not receive a refund because of the introductory period. I was told I would have to write the refund authorization number on the OUTSIDE of the box, which I did; all over the box! Terrible customer service!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Stay away, the makeup is horrible and will cost you hundreds of dollars.

The TV ads are very deceptive. They spend an hour telling you it's $29 for a system, but fail to tell you that you will pay more than $200. When you start seeing large $65 deductions from your credit card EVERY MONTH, plus $30 for the oily make up EVERY MONTH and you contact them, they send you a matter of fact, sarcastic email to the effect, you should have read the fine print and have a wonderful day. They could not be bothered that they are scamming millions of dollars from people looking for solutions for skin problems and that they fail to tell you that you will be trapped paying hundreds of dollars. For them, it's about money, too bad for you the hard working consumer.

Don't be a SUCKER like and millions of other people who find out too late!

The make up is oily and nasty and they will send you some every month. By the time you find out that you have been had, there's no way out, YOU HAVE REALLY BEEN HAD.

STAY AWAY! If it seems too good to be true, it REALLY is, not probable. Go to a makeup counter at your local mall and you will get better service and products for your specific skin issues, not this oily generic stuff that will cost you hundreds of dollars. This makeup is really oily and nasty and not as advertised. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE and REALLY IS!

They only put the positive ads on their website, so people do not see the systematic complaints from customers. I was shocked when I did some digging and realized that there were tons of people who had the same complaint, deceptive ads and disgusting makeup for hundreds of dollars and not the $29 they advertise.

Please don't waste your time or money! This was crap. You have to pay to send it back, and they don't refund your money. I had to call and then they said they would refund only $19.99 even though I bought additional product to try and return it all together. It's a scam!

I returned the product unused after deciding it was too much work. I purchased it at the beginning of the year, and I am still fighting with the company for my money, and for them to stop taking payments out of my account. I have contacted them multiple times and each time got the runaround and was blatantly lied to the last time. They are a shady company, and I’m contacting the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company! They are crooks!
