Useless and no guarantee

By Richard H., Missouri, Verified Reviewer

My wife purchased this from CVS at the end of March for my birthday. It was useless for me, and, despite a guarantee to take it back for 30 days, CVS wouldn't take it back, due to COVID-19. Navage won't take it back either, since it wasn't purchased directly from them. Spent over $100 for a useless machine.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not happy

By Brenda B., Texas, Verified Reviewer

I tried this several times. The water goes into my mouth and makes me gag. I have tried moving the Navage, rearranging the nose piece and changing postions with my head. Still the same. The water goes straight to my mouth and does nothing for my clogged sinuses.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Love it!

By Amanda M., Menomonee Falls, WI, Verified Reviewer

I have major allergy issues and haven’t been able to breathe (easily) through my nose for as long as I can remember. This has helped drastically! The only issue I had wasn’t their fault at all. My septum is deviated so it only works one way for me instead of both (learned the hard way after I tried drowning myself). But looking into the collection tank after truly satisfying and very gross.

Love the Navage

By Crystal T. , Auburn, IN

We use our Navage often because of our allergies. I warm our distilled water in the microwave and it works great. Husband took a while to get used to it. He hated it but loves it now. He doesn't get his headaches and sinus infections like he always did. I bought three Navages; one for our daughter and family, one for our son and of course us, very happy with them. Haven't been sick since I bought it.

Length of Use: 2+ years

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

It really does work

Don't need drugs

Having to clean it every use but worth it

Right out of the box my wife got instant relief from her sinus infection. Worked as advertised. Love it! She was hesitant about spending the money on it but after using it she wondered why we waited. I have been wanting to get one for a while.

Not what I expected

By Crystal S., Butler, PA, Verified Reviewer

I have had my Navage for about a year.

It worked fine until it didn't. I have had chronic sinusitis most of my life, it was my husband's idea to try it.

I used it in the evening and everything was fine. Went to use it the next morning and it didn't work. My husband tried everything to get it working to no avail. He changed the batteries and wasted salt pods (which are way too expensive).

So, now it sits in its box, a waste of almost $100.

Would not recommend just on how long it works, the cost, and the frustration.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

It did pull the junk out

It just stopped working

The salt pods are expensive

Battery failure

By Tom W., Sarasota, FL, Verified Reviewer

I've had the Navage system for several months and was pleased with the results. However, when I tried to change the batteries, I found that the batteries that came with the unit were corroded, leaking their contents all over the compartment. I notified the company by email. Hopefully, they will replace the damaged unit. This caveat about the recommendation below —be sure to replace the batteries with high-quality ones!

Length of Use: 3–6 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Thorough cleansing of the nasal passages

Cheap batteries came with the unit

Poor switch design

By Bill R., Kansas, Verified Reviewer

I am in my second purchase of the Navage. The first one stopped working 3 months into use. This is not a unit that is used continuously. I decided to purchase a second unit. Same thing, I had this one for 4 months and it will not work due to the switch design. Instead of a manual levered switch design, they really need to have a sealed electric switch. Not to mention water getting into the battery compartment. I'll go back to my manual bottle for the nasal rinse...fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. There will not be a third time.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

No “pros” were specified in this review

Cumbersome to use

Poor switch design

Works very well, IF you follow directions!

By Robert D., Linthicum, MD, Verified Reviewer

If you do not follow directions well, or are impatient, or are a Neanderthal, do not purchase! Otherwise; this gadget is phenomenal! Does exactly what it claims to do. Have had it for 3 days and already experienced a tremendous improvement in my right nostril no longer being clogged. Who knew THIS would be the “cure?” Buy it!

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Clears sinuses miraculously
