Not what I expected

By Crystal S., Butler, PA, Verified Reviewer

I have had my Navage for about a year.

It worked fine until it didn't. I have had chronic sinusitis most of my life, it was my husband's idea to try it.

I used it in the evening and everything was fine. Went to use it the next morning and it didn't work. My husband tried everything to get it working to no avail. He changed the batteries and wasted salt pods (which are way too expensive).

So, now it sits in its box, a waste of almost $100.

Would not recommend just on how long it works, the cost, and the frustration.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

It did pull the junk out

It just stopped working

The salt pods are expensive

Battery failure

By Tom W., Sarasota, FL, Verified Reviewer

I've had the Navage system for several months and was pleased with the results. However, when I tried to change the batteries, I found that the batteries that came with the unit were corroded, leaking their contents all over the compartment. I notified the company by email. Hopefully, they will replace the damaged unit. This caveat about the recommendation below —be sure to replace the batteries with high-quality ones!

Length of Use: 3–6 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Thorough cleansing of the nasal passages

Cheap batteries came with the unit

Poor switch design

By Bill R., Kansas, Verified Reviewer

I am in my second purchase of the Navage. The first one stopped working 3 months into use. This is not a unit that is used continuously. I decided to purchase a second unit. Same thing, I had this one for 4 months and it will not work due to the switch design. Instead of a manual levered switch design, they really need to have a sealed electric switch. Not to mention water getting into the battery compartment. I'll go back to my manual bottle for the nasal rinse...fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. There will not be a third time.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

No “pros” were specified in this review

Cumbersome to use

Poor switch design
