My wife and I needed to make a move to better our financial situation. Being a marine veteran I contacted NewDay USA because I felt they could better relate to a vet. Long story short, I'm very happy with my decision. We were put into the very capable hands of Joseph Potochney who is himself a Navy veteran. I consider this pairing a very fortunate one. Joseph was there to advise, counsel, and guide us through the refinance process. There was no stress, no pressure, and no emotional strain. Continuous communication was the order of the day and we were never left in the dark.

We initiated our process by email. We received a call from the agent, Wayne Spindler, almost immediately. Our whole process lasted about 4 weeks, even with a negative report on the appraisal. Wayne pushed our vendor to complete their work in time to go forward with the closing on time.

What I most liked was that I had a plan in mind but needed the money to get started, and I wanted to eliminate my PMI. Starting working with NewDay in January 2018 to refi through a VA loan. I got the usual "hurry up and wait" from the VA, so I gave up. The representative from NewDay suggested FHA. Originally, I applied to NewDay Financial for a VA loan, as I was under the impression that the law had changed somewhat and a veteran who served six years in the USAFR would be eligible.
