Nutra Thrive

By Rebecca T., Hot Springs, AR, Verified Reviewer

We have 4 dogs, all over 8 years old. They are all rescued animals, so most of them are mixed breeds. Full blood Akita, age 16, mixed yellow lab, age 8-9, mixed dachshund, not miniature, age 10-11, mixed Jack Russell terrier, age 8. My dogs seem to like the taste of it very much. At first, we sprinkled it on top of their food, but have better success with putting it under their food and stirring to mix a bit. We have only been using it for about a month, and I feel it is a little too early to tell if they are benefitting physically from this supplement. I am going to give it another month's observation since I have so many dogs.

One does/one doesn't

By Jason C., Romeo, MI, Verified Reviewer

I have an 8-year-old Golden Lab mix that loves Nutra Thrive and shortly after starting to take it seems happier and more energetic. I also have a picky 8-year-old Jack Russell that won't touch it. I'm happy with the product and how it has improved my Golden's energy and mental health but I do wish my Jack found it palatable.

Spirit's condition after being on Nutra Thrive for about 3 weeks.

By Deirdre M., Harper, TX, Verified Reviewer

Spirit is a 12-year-old Great Pyrenees. She has lots of arthritis and is on Rimadyl for pain and taking Phycox Max for inflammation. Since taking Nutra Thrive, she seems to walk a bit better and her spirits are happier. We have very hot weather here and temperatures are getting cooler now, so I can't tell how much is the weather or the powder that's making her better. I would like to taper down the daily Rimadyl if possible. These drugs are harmful to internal organs over time. I haven't given her the Phycox Max since starting the Nutra Thrive to see if it helps more or less. She is better on the Nutra Thrive. But right now, I'm going to switch her to just the Phycox Max because I'm running out of Nutra Thrive and cannot afford both, plus the Rimadyl. When she runs out of the Phycox Max, I'll switch her back to the Nutra Thrive.

Is it your opinion that she should be good entirely on Nutra Thrive without anything else such as Rimadyl?

Thanks.

Seeing improvements

By Debbie L., Apache Junction, AZ, Verified Reviewer

I bought both the Nutra Thrive and the Canine Boost.

I feed a total raw diet and fresh fruits, vegetables, seeds, and turmeric paste for the last two years.

Scrappy is a 13-year-old border collie and was starting to have issues with his back legs. Sometimes dragging them behind.

It scarred me and that was why I investigated your product.

So l could make sure he has everything he needed. He is doing so much better. I stopped using the Canine Boost because it smelled rancid. The MRG date is December 4, 2018 and I purchased it September 2019. Scrappy usually has solid poops and for a few days, it had a mucus look.

Recommend the Nutra Thrive but didn't really use the Canine Boost.

Definitely an improvement but not as good as I had hope for

By Pamela-Faith Eleana Y., Texas, Verified Reviewer

I have an 11-year-old toy/mini apricot male poodle who had started behaving like an old dog. He did not follow me around the house like my other two younger poodles, he did not interact with them much and sometimes had no appetite for his food.

After a few days on Nutra Thrive, he seemed a bit better. He used to have very soft stools now and then and no longer does. He does not like the taste of the supplement. He only has two teeth left due to periodontal disease and so I soften his food for him. To make sure the product gets in him I spoon feed the food with the powder sprinkled over it. I cannot dissolve the powder in water because he will not drink the water I put on the food to soften it.

So, he now has more energy than he did before, interacts more with my other two dogs and has no really soft stools but I was hoping for a recovery like the horse on your video - back to full health. I have not as yet experienced that.

Pretty good

By Teika J., Columbus, OH, Verified Reviewer

I would have initially given my review an excellent, however, after the first week of using Nutra thrive, my 13-year-old Miniature Schnauzer started having acid reflux. But overall, the product is great in that I can see a difference in his energy level and in his coat! He has IVDD.

More energy

By Peggy H., Verified Reviewer

I’ve been giving Nutra Thrive to both my 3-year-old beagle as well as my 5-month-old Golden Retriever. The beagle has had more energy lately and is playing more with the puppy which is helping with her weight. The puppy is growing and getting bigger and stronger every day. Her coat is so soft.

Still early, but...

By Jim M., Hyattsville, MD, Verified Reviewer

I've been feeding my cats the supplement now for 6 weeks...I am not sure, yet, if I have seen any physical difference. It's true, however, that I am not giving the cats the "full dose." I am splitting one full scoop between them every morning.

So it's still too early for me to either recommend the expense of the supplement or not.

I want to add, nonetheless, that I was happily surprised that the supplement's "taste" did not deter my finicky cats from eating their food.

My pups love it

By Susan P., Kansas City, KS, Verified Reviewer

So far my pups love the taste and my older dog is showing me that he can play twice as much as before! I have shared this information with my Rover clients and hope to see additional improvements.

Do see some difference in indoor 10-year-old but wish the better poop smell you promised would happen

By Julie W., Dallas, TX, Verified Reviewer

Pets:

Two indoor Cats. One 10-year-old and one 2-year-old.

NT Dosage:

Older - 1/2 scoop morning and night.

Younger: 1/2 scoop am only (since last 3 weeks).

Why I wanted to try:

Older had been throwing up phlegm and stuff prior to morning feedings 4-5 times per week. I changed her diet to Science Diet i/d CKVegStew about 3 months prior to buying NT and she had stopped throwing up before I started using Nutra Thrive.

Diet:

98.5% WET food for Older.

94% WET for younger - she also gets about 1/8 cups kibble with her wet.

Younger: Purina ProPlan, Royal Canin, Earthborn Holistic.

6 oz wet, 1/8 cup kibble.

Feedings at 6 am and 5 pm.

Older: Science Diet Digestive Care i/d CkVeg Stew.

Now, I've added some Royal Canin Easy Digest and Earthborn Holistic Chicken - She loves Royal Canin.

6 oz wet - little bits of kibble from time to time.

Feedings at 6 am and 5 pm.

So now to your supplement:

I used jar 1 in September - both cats got 1 scoop per day.

Started jar 2 in October. Cut back to only 1/2 scoop for 2-year-old because she's 2! And not one issue.

Older:

She has been a little more playful. She is still not throwing up even after adding some Royal Canin and Earthborn Holistic chicken to her diet. (Thank goodness.)

She gets very little kibble except for dry treats.

She's just acting older at 10 than my previous cat at 14.

Watching her close.

Nutra Thrive Original order was 3 jars and so far I am being very consistent with the feedings.

One disappointment was not quite getting the decrease in smelly poop that these 2 have. Still pretty pungent. I have noticed a difference in their output but these two pee 3-4 times per day each and at least 1 poop per day.

"Bottom Line" checkbox below - I'm going to say "Yes," because it is definitely not a NO, but the jury is still out...

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Results after several weeks

By Alexander G., New York City, NY, Verified Reviewer

I can clearly see less shedding from my Labrador but not substantially less. My smaller dog, a terrier mix, didn’t shed before so it’s hard to evaluate. Neither pet seems to like the taste very much but I insist and they both eat their food anyway. Can’t tell of any other improvements at this point.

Thanks.
