I have to say that I was a little skeptical at first. No way it could be as easy as it sounds. What's the catch? Where are the hidden fees? I work in the mortgage industry so I'm very familiar with the process of selling a home. Selling a home equals stress x 10. This was by far the easiest transaction I have ever been involved in.

First, the offer they made me on my home was a few thousand dollars more than I would have listed it with a realtor for. Yes, the fees are slightly higher than the normal 6% from a realtor, but this is fully disclosed in the offer. I don't want this review to focus on money because everyone has there own personal financial needs. After I received and accepted my offer, I talked to Jordan for about 15 minutes just to make sure that I was not missing anything because it seemed so easy. I never talked to anyone on the phone again. Everything was done through the app or email at my convenience. Obviously, I could have picked up the phone if needed, but who wants to talk on the phone nowadays. They arrived a little early (Who actually arrives early? The Opendoor team does) for the inspection and were very complementary about the property. The results of the inspection blew my mind. They did not nickel and dime me for tiny things, and did NOT send me a 20-page report ripping my house apart and telling me how awful my house was. Total repairs were under $500, very reasonable.

Fast forward to the final walkthrough, scheduled for 9 am. The young man knocked on the door at EXACTLY 9 am. I was beyond impressed at that point. Never in a million years did I think it would be this easy. Oh, and I signed the final documents a few days early at my convenience. So on the day of the actual closing, all I had to do was check my bank account for the wired funds, and yes, they were in my account by the end of the day. So there was never any catch, no added fees, everything was disclosed upfront and part of the offer. The most stress-free transaction ever, and I didn't even mention that I never had to list my home for sale, didn't have to show my house to multiple strangers on their schedules. Didn't have to worry about a potential buyer getting financing, or backing out at the last minute.

Thank you, Opendoor, for turning one of the most stressful events in life into an amazing experience. I will continue to spread the word about this experience to everyone I can.

Opendoor was a new concept to us. As we prepared to list our home I came across this option. It seemed very intriguing so after researching the seller experience we decided to give it a try. We were fully prepared to exercise the option to cancel at any time during the process. The fact that Opendoor offers this cancellation policy was very reassuring and gave us the confidence to move forward.

First the offer came back at the exact amount we were prepared to settle on with a buyer. Then came the home assessment. The repairs were over what we felt was necessary to make the sale at that price. At that point, I asked to cancel. Since we were in no hurry or need to sell right away we thought we could make the expensive repairs ourselves and recoup some of the cost by getting a higher selling price. My point is, please be aware that if you are paying for costly repairs you should get some return for that expense.

Anyway, Opendoor was very understanding of our position and rethought the repair - they credited the more expensive repair back and we agreed to proceed to closing.

After that everything progressed as normal but a whole lot quicker since you are not waiting for a buyer to secure funds. We only needed to agree to minor repairs (repairs that any buyer may have asked for) and to assist with the title process.

The entire transaction from offer to close was less than 30 days. I’m impressed and thankful to be spared possible last-minute buyer drama (which has happened to us in the past).

The entire team at Opendoor was very professional and transparent. It is a different relationship though. I never met the team face to face but they were always responsive to my questions and concerns.

In closing, we would recommend Opendoor as a viable selling option to explore.

Using Opendoor was a fantastic experience. My mother was selling her home and wanted to sell quickly. She did not want to handle the responsibilities of being a home owner any longer and she was wanting to downsize. A traditional real estate agent would have taken 6 months or longer to sell. With Opendoor, she received an offer she was happy with. The process went quickly and she was able to close within a month. I would recommend using this service whenever you are in the market to sell your home.

Selling the house with Opendoor was the best experience we could have. From our first conversation until our closing day, we always got emails or calls about what will be our next step. Alex and Lisa always informed us ahead, what they are going to do or what we have to do. All the way they were truthful and very helpful. On our closing day, there were no hidden fees or any catch. We can truly say, this was the very best experience we could ask for. And if we ever want to sell our new home, it will be definitely with Opendoor.

I cannot say enough good things about this adventure. I reached out to them out of curiosity and a need to sell my home. It was the best thing I could have done. They took care of all of the paperwork and they explained everything all along the way. I did not have any representation as they took care of all of it. The two different times that I was confused by this new experience they walked me through the language and requirements. They gave me a great value for my home and the repair costs that they were going to take care of were far less than if I had it done. To sum it up, I received more than I thought I would for my home in its condition and it all happened at my pace. Truly awesome.

The offer was very reasonable and the process was easy and seamless. No showings, no hassle. We closed with you 2 days before we closed with the builder and were able to move out and into our new home with no issues. Thank you so much for making one of the most stressful events (moving/transition from one home to another) so much easier! We now sing your praises to all our family and friends. No one can believe how easy it is.

I came to Opendoor because the realtor experience I endured was horrible. I was hesitant at first to go to an agency but Opendoor won the bid. They had every step of the process buttoned up. I had been wanting to sell my home for a while, but dreaded the entire home selling process. I did not want to deal with inconvenient home showings and the home repairs I thought would be required to sell. I heard about Opendoor from the radio and decided to request an offer to see if they truly were competitive. The offer was more than what a realtor had told me I should ask for the home. I thought the catch would be after the initial inspection. They came back with $0 in repairs required. Due to work conflicts, I had to change the closing date at least 3 times during the process which was very easy to do. Everything was done on my time. Responsive staff. I needed to make repairs to my house before I could sell and my credit was not good so I couldn't get a loan to do it.

I saw the Opendoor ads. Didn't really think much of it but I wanted to see how much they would offer. They actually offered more than I thought they would.

The next part was the assessment phase. I really thought they would go overboard on the repairs. Again they didn't. My downstairs A/C was not working so they deducted the repairs from that.

So the process was great with flexible closing dates cause they buy cash as-is.

I had a lot of equity in my house and they allowed me to get it out.

Shoutout to Clif, Julie, and Stephanie, they're awesome. They were very easy to work with. They were knowledgeable, thoughtful, and hard-workers. I changed my move out date 3 times and Julie was very accommodating and worked with me on that. Not one time she was annoyed.

Most important to me, Julie and Clif were very honest with me about everything. They were always available and helpful, and I always felt that they truly had my best interests at heart.

Working with Opendoor exceeded any of my expectations and I'm so glad I decided to go with them. Everything went smoothly.
