Piping Rock

The oils are really weak. The oil dispenser is very sloppy and runs all over the bottle. I used some peppermint oil with a carrier oil at the mix ratio they recommended and can't even smell the peppermint. I ended up adding the entire 1/2 oz bottle of peppermint oil to 4 oz of carrier oil and could not even smell the peppermint. The oil does not give you that warm feeling of peppermint, definitely much weaker than any I have ever had in the past.

Same thing with the sweet orange oil when making a body spritz or room spray.

I used the dilution chart they sent me via email.

I also purchased the magnesium oil, I was leary when reading the questions and answers because they were recommending to use 4 to 5 sprays in one answer, but in another answer stated 4 to 5 sprays delivered approximately 60 mg of magnesium. The recommended dosage I have gotten from everyone else is 550 mg a day. But I ordered it anyway. When I received it the bottle had no mention of how many mgs or how much to use on the label, no directions at all. I went with calculating 550 mg from the statement that 4 to 5 sprays delivered approximately 60 mgs. Using this calculation that ends up being about 36 to 45 sprays for each application. I am not feeling the relief from this magnesium oil that I do from Dr Shealy's lotion. I think it is also very diluted.

I also purchased Ultra Chewable Pet Vitamins for dogs and cats. I should have snapped when I bought them that you normally would not give a dog and a cat the same dosage of vitamins because they are so different, their foods are not the same, but, I did not. It did not matter anyway, my animals won't touch them. They smell like hay. I let Piping Rock know that the animals did not like the chewable pills and that they smelled like hay, but they did not seem to think it mattered much.

However, I did enjoy the sesame sticks and sunflower seed. They were pretty good, but, the bag does not say where they come from.

I am not sure I will order from Piping Rock again.

The items did arrive quickly and they were packed well. I was missing a sprayer pump for the spray bottles of Magnesium, but when notified they dropped some in the mail right away.

I have ordered several different vitamins, B complex, D3 and Calcium-Magnesium-D3 from Piping Rock over the past two years without a problem! The orders arrived within 5-7 days, and in excellent condition. The price has always beat the competition, by at least 30 to 50 percent.

Like any customer, I would like to see all nutraceuticals companies assay their product's ingredients to reassure us of the quality. Once a year, with a surprise visit from a company with no financial ties.

I would be willing to pay for the extra cost in my supply of vitamins.

I would like to see what other people have to say about the essential oils from Piping Rock. I received my order promptly and without shipping issues, considering they were shipped from the US to Europe. However, I am concerned about the quality of the oils. I ordered several oils, amongst them myrrh, frankincense, and geranium. The myrrh is supposed to have a balsamic odor but actually did not smell of anything and was very watery, The geranium and the frankincense did not smell as they should do. As a trained aromatherapist this concerns me as the aromas are what benefit the olfactory system. Whilst I realize that the oils are a good price and I would not expect industrial grade oils for this price, these oils do not smell as they should. I am disappointed as I thought this looked like a reputable company. I would be reluctant to use them on other people as I would have safety and authenticity concerns.

Always enjoyed quality products at good prices until I got a pound of rank Filberts. Tried to return but it became a hassle. Even good vendors have an occasional hiccup like this.

I have ordered here several times before. Their products appear to have some efficacy and are priced competitively. My most recent order, however, has convinced me to take my business elsewhere. My mistake was a simple one; my old billing address populated the billing address for my credit card. Piping Rock rejected my order but the charge still showed up as a hold on my credit card for over a week. When it first happened I immediately try to correct the issue, which didn't work, used live chat and subsequently called. When it was clear that I could not receive my order I asked for them to release the hold on my credit card. It never happened and finally a week later after contacting my credit card company the charge was released. I've never experienced this level of difficulty with online shopping in many years. Did not receive an order and to have my funds held up with little help from customer service convinced me to cancel my account and do business elsewhere.

I have been a loyal customer of Lindberg Nutrition. That was the prior owner of the now company called Piping Rock. I never doubted quality or price when I did shop at Lindberg Nutrition. I now go into Piping Rock sparingly. Somehow I do not feel the quality is what it used to be, and it feels more like a money-making company. I have read the negative reviews and I have never seen a company with almost 50% negative reviews. After reading many of the international reviews, I will no longer buy from Piping Rock. This is not the company I shopped at, this is not the company I was loyal to for over 20 years. I was loyal to Lindberg Nutrition, who knew how to run a couple and offer quality products at a fair price. Shame on you, Piping Rock, you just lost a customer because of your poor quality control and miss management of providing products internationally in an appropriate and timely manner. This is not a company I stand by any longer as of today, Friday, November 13, 2023. Good riddance!

Comparing GABA & Inositol from PR to NOW brand, I feel that there may be less potency with what I bought from Piping Rock. When I take NOW brand GABA or Inositol on empty stomach I can feel something when it initially releases. Maybe the gel capsule from PB does not dissolve until it reaches the stomach?

I ordered some supplies from Piping Rock and a few other websites. I haven't received my shipment and when I tracked the shipment, it still hasn't left they factory and I ordered it a week ago. With that being said, my orders that I ordered from a company that is similar to Piping Rock, has already sent my shipment.

Forget about returning orders placed in error or without satisfaction. Once you pay the return shipping, forget it, and customer service doesn't care.

It's a great deal if you are a first time buyer. BUT if you are a return customer this company will not cut you any breaks. You pay full price and cannot use their coupons. Most successful companies know and understand that the return customers are their bread & butter. Obviously this company hasn't learned this valuable lesson somehow. I would only recommend this company for the first order & then move on to another company on next order. With all this said, the product 'organic extra virgin coconut oil' was a good quality product. I hate leaving negative reviews but... There is NO loyalty with this company. NONE.

It took them 3 weeks to refund my $12, which they do not pay for refund shipping. (I will not order from them again.)

I had to email and call 10 times. When I did call they seemed uninterested to tell me the details about my order. Plus I got essential oils and they wastefully pour out and are messy and drip all over the bottles.

I loved the idea about their Piping Rock diffuser/light but it just doesn't make sense not to have an "off" button. You have to unplug the power cord in the back to turn it off; if not a red light will constantly blink until you cut off power from the outlet.

Disappointing because they did not go above and beyond. The little things keep a customer and I'm not kept. I'll have to stick with Amazon and Edens Garden for my oils.
