Value

By Doug J., Cedar Rapids, IA, Verified Reviewer

Price was my first draw to a Quip. After having and using it twice daily I am pleased with it. I do think the vibrations could be more. The brush material seems to do an exceptional job at cleaning my teeth.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I like it

By Jerry W., Montrose, CO, Verified Reviewer

Quip is much lighter, less noisy, and less messy than traditional electrics. There are no charging bases or electric cords to maintain and store. I would recommend this brush to consumers who want an electric without the hassle. The only problem I detect is that mine will shut out VERY briefly at random times - less than a second.

It works well

By Jonathan B., Texas, Verified Reviewer

I was recommended quip by the McElroys and I like it quite a bit. It is small, compact, and simple.

I like the attachment that lets you attach the toothbrush to the mirror. It's a nice toothbrush to use on the go.

Love the timer on the toothbrush

By Juanita P., Milwaukee, WI, Verified Reviewer

The 60-second timer on the toothbrush is a great idea because it keeps me focused on all the areas of my teeth. I also like the fact that it is so portable. Now I can take my electric toothbrush with me when when I travel. I received this from my son's fiance for Christmas. She gave many of these for gifts. What a great idea.

Ja’Rodney summary

By Jarodney M., Arlington, TX, Verified Reviewer

Great toothbrush and I love the design. I like the bristles, they aren’t too firm. The only thing I would change is the timing seems to be a little short for my preference...

Slippery handle

By Vin I., Staten Island, NY, Verified Reviewer

I love the toothbrush, however, the handle on the metal toothbrush gets very slippery when it gets wet.

I would love to see a rubber grip to keep it secure in my hand while brushing. If not, a silicone cover for the handle would work.

Love the brush, battery less so!

By Anne R., San Diego, CA, Verified Reviewer

I was really impressed with the Quip I received for Christmas. And I'm anxious to hear what my dentist thinks when I see him next week. The only thing I've not been impressed with is the battery life of the brush. You claim it lasts three months but I had to replace the battery after less than two months. I wrote and you said if I brush more than twice a day or longer than the allotted time, it might affect battery life. I do sometimes brush a little longer, but I don't think a month's worth of battery. I think your marketing is a little misleading in this way. Otherwise, I love the toothbrush and I have already recommended it to others.

Great product, but brush head disconnects easily

By Kristen Q., Fort Worth, TX, Verified Reviewer

I’m enjoying using my quip and that it has such a sleek look in my bathroom. I’m disappointed though that the brush head disconnects too easily. Every time I brush the handle and head disconnect. It’s frustrating. Please fix this in a future product redesign.

Love it

By Mavis H., Oregon, Verified Reviewer

Love the size of the handle and the brush is super comfortable in your mouth. I have not received my new head and batteries, so I am not sure how easy replacement is. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Great product - purchase from the website

By Deshant P., Brooklyn, NY, Verified Reviewer

The bristles and timer make all the difference. Quip makes an electric toothbrush, which is nothing sexy or special, but it's easily the best electric toothbrush I've used. Again, this is not an expert endorsement but it is superior to Oral-B and Colgate offerings if for nothing else than it allows you to replace the battery easily. The subscription service is brilliant and I must emphasize it is better to buy from the website than a retail store. I purchased mine from a Target location and the battery died after less than a month and the travel case holder never worked against any smooth clean surface. Luckily Quip's customer service leaped to the rescue and handled my issues swiftly!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Quip quibble

By Brenda W., Atlanta, GA, Verified Reviewer

I really like the convenience of not having to charge the brush. I also like the timing feature that keeps me cognizant of the importance of each space along my gums.

When I rinse the brush I am wary about the battery getting wet...it hasn't, however, the gasket surround is not totally leak proof. That being said, the battery has remained dry each change; I believe the changing of the brush on a regular basis prevents the gasket from wearing to a point of breaking down. A bit of ingenuity there!

I do not like the change to the toothpaste!

It is not smooth anymore, more chalky than smooth, and it no longer eases out of the tube. The tube has changed too and once you never left a drop of toothpaste on the lip of the tube...now each and every time there is waste after putting your paste on the brush and it leaves the tube messy - I do not like this change!

Will I keep using the brush?

Yes; but not the toothpaste.

That's my quibble.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
