Sono Bello Reviews - Is It Really Effective?

I am beyond happy with my results. Everyone at Sono Bello San Diego ROCKS! I would recommend them to anyone interested in making a body change. I am hoping to have more done. The recovery time was just a day or two, nothing major, I was back to work by day three! Thank you Sono Bello!

No regrets! I have always struggled with my weigh and while in the military I was able to keep those concerns at bay. After retiring from the military, I begin seeing someone in the mirror I was not happy with. I did not take pictures, became very self-conscious and somewhat withdrawn.

Since meeting Maggie at Sono Bello in Charlotte, North Carolina, I am amazed at the transformation that is taking place within me. I must first say that the staff is very professional and helpful. Then I met Maggie, what an incredible young lady! She lifted my spirits by her infectious and exciting attitude about becoming the best "you that you can be."

After my consultation, I met Dr. Pratt. He is very professional, thoughtful and an excellent surgeon. He listened to my concerns and "my doubts" as to whether or not the procedures would be right for me. I shared with him that I’ve tried LipoSculpture, hormone treatment, and of course, diets. The most important thing I want to share at this point is that I absolutely have "no regrets!" Shout out to his nurse Tae, thank you for your encouraging words and holding my hand (smile).

It’s been three months since my procedure, and I can’t stay out of the mirror (smile). I would compare Dr. Pratt to Michael Angelo, the great artist of all times! I am "becoming" the picture of perfection, meaning that I’m proud to be me! I can recall that weeks after the procedures everyone began noticing the new me. The value of how I am beginning to feel about myself and how I look is worth more to me than anyone will ever know. Thank you Dr. Pratt!

After years of wanting to do something for me, I finally made a decision to go to Sono Bello to see if they could help me feel better about me! And they did!

From my first consultation appointment, yes I was a little nervous, but after 15 minutes I knew I was in the right place.

Step 3 - Appointment with a nurse, and yes, lots of pictures.

Step 4 - Appointment with Doctor.

Step 5 - Surgery.

Step 6 - Post-surgery follow-up appointment and all along weekly emails with very helpful tips to achieve the optimal results!

Not once have I felt alone going through this and EVERYONE at Sono Bello Bellevue has been nothing but professional, helpful, and welcoming!

I'm so happy with my results so far and have had many compliments, I never thought I would be in the market for a two-piece bathing suit again, but watch out here I come!

The first appointment with Kim went great. She was very thorough and answered all my questions. When she called to follow up, I was pretty much sold. She is most definitely an asset to Sono Bello.

For my pre-op appointment, I met with Brooke and couldn’t be happier. As a medical professional myself, I was impressed with her personality and demeanor. She easily put me at ease, and I’m glad she will be present for my procedure!

I have to say the main concern is if your doctor cares about you or his mighty dollar.

I went in for my surgery and Dr. Walek cared about my needs. I love this doctor, he is not money-hungry and he will not push for something he does not think you need like some doctors. He is also very compassionate. He knows his stuff. The day after my procedure I saw a difference. I wanted to get e.x done and he told me based on his observation he didn’t think I need it even though certain staff who handles the financial part was pushing for me to get it, Dr. Walek stood his ground and said "if the patient has doubts about scars and is not totally sure I won’t do something she’s not too sure about." Walek is amazing, if I ever need something done, he will be the only doctor I would go to. He is honest and very ethical about his work and he takes his time to do his work. Don’t worry about him rushing you so he can take the next patient. I ended up waiting an extra hour before he stated my procedure because he was working on another patient and did not want to rush. I’m waiting to see what I will look like in a couple of weeks. But I already see a difference the moment I removed the bandages the next day.

Please read this! This is my second review and I will keep writing terrible reviews until my money is refunded!

Just over a year ago, I went in for their so-called awesome liposuction removal and what a crock! I weighed 155 lbs going in there, I was a size 9–10. My whole life I've been a size four or five and I was told, and I quote, "we can absolutely get you back down to a 4/6." It's a year later and after spending close to $8,000 I weigh exactly the same.

I thought after the first 6 weeks (and did everything by the book because I am a nurse) that maybe it was just going to take a bit longer, but I'm here to tell you, folks, this is not worth your time and money. I'm still paying off a loan. I got several areas done (and just so you know your abdomen is considered two areas the top and the bottom, so that's two separate prices). I'm still in a 9–10, nothing has changed. Again, I'm a nurse, I eat right, I do all the right things, and I got played.

And after my first review, I had what they call a "public relations specialist" reach out to me offering me another service to try and fix what they didn't do the first time. Please! Why would I go back in and have more downtime out of work, a lot more holes, draining fluid, and blood and everything else for weeks at a time just to have nothing else happen again. I simply asked for one thing, I asked for my money back. I even went so far as to ask for a portion of it back, and you know what they told me? NO!

Let me tell you how professional they are. Their nurse that's supposed to start the IV in case something happens during the surgery had no idea what she was doing, she literally did not know how to start an IV, I had to walk her through it, and even then she couldn't do it. What a joke.

I'm going to continue to write poor reviews on this company and continue to hopefully make them lose money until they pay me my money back because as far as I can tell, I just gave them $8,000 for a little pain and a lot of frustration. Please, don't do this go to another place. Just clearly this company it's not worth your time, and especially not worth your money!

11/6/2017 - I had read a number of Yelp reviews and hesitated to book a consultation at Sono Bello because of some poorly rated ones. Yet, Sono Bello had a special whereby you could have one liposuction treatment area done for free when you paid for 3 other areas, so I decided to see for myself. I was completely "sold" after my consultation with Nicole Bradshaw, the practice leader. I didn't experience her as a salesperson, however, I experienced her as someone who sincerely cared, and offered a solution to a problem, so to speak.

I eat modestly, have no processed foods of any kind in my diet, work closely with a nutritionist and exercise most days of the a week. Yet, I had some areas of extra fat that I clearly could not have reduced or removed with diet and exercise alone; one of which was there since I was a child. I trusted Nicole intuitively and sensed that she would oversee my experience to ensure it was a positive one. My intuition has served me very well. Nicole has really extended herself to me and has spent a fair amount of time on the phone and in person at the clinic every step of the way.

I am just shy of the 3-week mark post op and the recovery was easier than I feared. I wouldn't characterize it as easy, but definitely do-able. I didn't take any narcotics after the procedure, and after the first week, I started to feel much more comfortable. Since I am considerably less inflamed and swollen at this point, I can already see some results, and am quite pleased overall. There may be some areas that Dr. Malin "touches up" complimentary with an additional treatment in 6 months, which is one of the reasons I chose Sono Bello. They will ensure that the final results are as anticipated and hoped for, within reason, of course. I had feedback to offer Nicole about what I think could have improved my experience in a couple of ways and she was very receptive.

I think every staff member sincerely cares, and I have felt well supported. I know that they've celebrated in my results so far as well. I am very excited to see where I will be at the 3-month mark post op and may add to my review at that point. I only wish I had done this sooner. I had considered it for years! My inclination was to keep this experience private, and not to write a public review, however, I really wanted others who may hesitate due to some of the poor reviews, to read mine. I definitely would recommend that anyone who has interest to schedule a consultation and see for themselves before they are scared off by some of the 1-star reviews.

I also wanted to add, please keep in mind that poor reviews don't necessarily reveal the whole story, and Sono Bello can't offer a "rebuttal" or share their perspective because of their commitment to patient privacy. Also, there are a number of hidden reviews on Yelp that helped me decide to have a consultation.

8/8/2018 - I wanted to write an update on my first review since I've now not only had liposuction twice, but experienced the Venus treatments and have had a Sono Bello Lift as well. I have transformed in ways that has left me so much more comfortable and confident in my own skin, and I am so deeply appreciative to all the staff and physicians at Sono Bello. As a repeat customer many times over now, I continue to be extremely pleased with my overall experience. There have been a few concerns that have come up for me, but Candace Loyd who now oversees the clinic has ensured that they were all addressed in a way I am satisfied with. In addition, she has taken the time to support my recovery every step of the way. I have really appreciated her sincere care about my experience, and her desire for me to have a positive one.

I think both Dr. Malin who performed my liposuction and Dr. Campanelli who performed my Lift are very skilled, kind and supportive and I appreciate the care I've received from each of them. Ellisha Leal, who administers the Venus treatments, advocated for me to have it done on my stomach, as well as neck and arms, post liposuction, and I am so happy I added my stomach to the lineup. We've seen very clear results, as my skin is much more toned and firm than the liposuction alone resulted in. I recommend her as a skilled and supportive practitioner as well.

The staff at Sono Bello of Portland have really extended themselves to me in so many ways and I continue to recommend the clinic wholeheartedly. I really look forward to my visits as I truly love to connect with the very warm and friendly staff.

It’s been one year since I had my surgery at Sono Bello in Denver, Colorado. Since then I’m down three dress sizes. My friends are so envious of the transformation. I saved very hard to have this done, and I really am pleased with what they gave me. The staff is prompt with reminding you of appointments, and they are so pleasant. The surgeon was great. Amazing bedside communication and comforting. He even checked on me the night of the surgery.

The staff at the Bellevue location is extremely professional, nice, and personable. The doctor was SUPER friendly and funny and made me feel much more comfortable on the day of the procedure.

My only negative comment would be that I wish they would have explained the negative aspects of the procedure a bit more...maybe even showed pictures during the sales pitch. Although they did say every patient's recovery is different and there is no guarantee, it would be a bit less shocking if I would have seen some pictures before having the procedure.

My procedure was only seven weeks ago and although I do see a marked difference, I am hopeful I have not yet seen the full positive results.

I would definitely recommend Bellevue Sono Bello if you are considering this type of cosmetic surgery. They were amazing, and the follow up after the procedure was excellent. The doctor even called me himself!

First, let me just say that this was not my first time consulting about plastic surgery. I have gone to 3 others, and I wasn't nearly as impressed as I was today with Julie. She was so helpful and informative. Plus, she was careful to make sure she fully understood all of my concerns before suggesting anything. From problem areas, to my medical history, to financing, she really took the time to explain all the ins and outs, and even took the time to get to know me and my family.

Julie completed a visual assessment of the areas I told her I was bothered by, and let me know what she believed would give me the best result, without making me feel like she was just trying to sell me something. I was so impressed with the care from the consultation alone, that I went ahead and put my deposit down same day! I have never been so sure about anything as I am about choosing this facility for my body contouring needs!
