Sono Bello Reviews - Is It Really Effective?

This was my second time going to Sono Bello. The first time was awesome, I went down two sizes with no issues, was back on my feet and back to work within a week. Now let's talk about the second procedure. I had some medical issues, and from the meds I had to take for health reasons, I picked back up some weight. I scheduled another 3 area procedure to be done, and this time I was so disappointed in them. I was left with dark quarter sides marks on the back of both thighs. On the inside of my thighs a long dark crease, with an indentation along with it. I went back for them to fix the problem but they could not get it done. They came up with every excuse there was and passed me from one person to another. I have told all my family and friends that were interested (DO NOT go to Sono Bello). They don't care once they have your money.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

After having 2 children in the same year and trying everything under the sun to help with my appearance and the way I felt about myself, my fiancé and I decided to go with Sono Bello after talking to the consultant and seeing the before and after pictures.

I started this process back in January of 2018. After my 6 months check up my hips were uneven and there was more that could have been taken out. One of the nurses at Sono Bello told me that Dr. Mendoza always gets complaints, I was thinking of course he does, the one that did my procedure.

So I had another doctor look at what I what I was talking about and he agreed the other doctor really messed this procedure up. So I went with him to get a revision, which I wouldn’t have had to do if it was done right the first time. So with his opinion, I did the ex mini tummy tuck to get the best results.

After that procedure in September of 2019, I had 4 painful infections having to leave work. I also had to go to physical therapy because my leg was in so much pain. Dr. Lyons said that has happened before where they cut in too much causing that leg pain.

I am still not happy with the results with what I paid. I had the medical team look at my file and they said you got great results so there won’t be a refund or even help with what you have been through.

Convenient for them to say I got nice results, but it’s my body and I look nothing like I saw in the before and after photos, those have to be a scam.

Anyways, my story here is don’t go to Sono Bello, not a good company and doesn’t give you the results you talk about with the consultant.

My name is Catia. After having two children I could never get my shape back. I eat healthily and exercise, but that stubborn fat would not go away.

I went to Sono Bello feeling a bit skeptical. The staff over there is wonderful and easy to communicate with. Vanessa, the office manager, is great. She's very understanding and was there for me from beginning to end. As for my doctor, Dr. Zekirvoski, he is very compassionate and understanding with great bedside manners. Dr. Zekirvoski explained what he was going to do and assured me that I would be happy with the result.

I must say, I'm not fully healed yet, but so far I'm very happy with the results. Thank you Sono Bello.

My incisions are in the middle of my thighs. We’re told prior to the procedure they would be hidden in my groin.

Terrible uneven appearance. Needs to be redone, but I’m afraid it will have a worse appearance than they have now.

Very painful.

Please save your money and see a real plastic surgeon.

I was told I would lose up to 2 dress sizes...I am wearing the same size. It was a waste of time and money. I could not see any changes. I am extremely disappointed and I want my money back.

They failed to mention that I could end up being uneven. I went a second time because the doctor did not do it right the first time. I hate looking at myself in the mirror. The doctor changed my figure from being pear-shaped, which I was fine with, being heavier on my bottom area to being coke shaped. But now that some of the fat has come back, I look very top heavy. It's disturbing to look at myself in the mirror. My waist doesnt even come in. I can't even wear a bathing suit because of how uneven my right hip is from left hip. And the left side of my stomach comes in more than the right side. I regret going here. Going here made me regret even having lipo done.

I am a person who always thought that all these body contouring places were full of it. Well, I'm here to say Sono Bello proved me so wrong. At first, I was nervous because I have only seen little results. But over each month, it seemed to get better. I didn't expect to look this good. Thank you Sono Bello so much.

The initial visit is a sales pitch where you are feeling pressured to lock in the current special which is a discount at that time. Nonetheless, I was having my vow renewal and wanted to wear this beautiful dress, but I had concerns with my knees, inner thighs, and my back.

Sono Bello convinced me that it was minimal invasion, little downtime and my results would be awesome. They were very easy to reach prior to making a payment. Once the payment was made, it was next to impossible to reach. You would have to leave a voicemail and they would return the call.

The procedure itself was very painful. The doctor was not pleasant. Despite my high tolerance for pain, the doctor stated if I continued to moan of the pain, he would stop the procedure and have me pay more to be under full anesthesia to do the procedure. Once the procedure was done, I had a lot of pain and bruising - more than I was told.

Given all of the above, I was still excited because I concentrated on my end results. However, that quickly was added to my list of disappointment. I have before and after pictures, there was absolutely NO change in my thighs and back other than the scars of where the doctor inserted the laser. My knees have a small change in them, but not really that noticeable without actually starring. I am very disappointed with what was delivered. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

I'm glad I didn't read all of the negative reviews I'm seeing today before I had my procedure. I'm at post-op day three. So far, everything has been wonderful. My first consultation was very informative and the staff was very very friendly. I scheduled the procedure and received a discount for paying in full. I had my inner thighs, outer thighs, area under my butt which they referred to as the "banana" and my knees done. I'm 41, I weigh around 120 and I'm 5'. I've always had an athletic type figure due to being involved in dancing and gymnastics my entire life but some trouble areas would not go away no matter how well I dieted and exercised.

For my surgery, I arrived at 6:30 AM at their Cincinnati branch. The procedure started at 7:30 AM. The nurse and doctor were very friendly and kept me very comfortable. I was nervous about taking my pain pills so I opted out of having any pain medicine during my surgery. I was told the lidocaine would numb me pretty well and I wouldn't feel much after it was given. When they were giving me the anesthetic it did sting a bit when I received those shots but that was the worst pain throughout the entire surgery and it wasn't that bad.

The surgery went smooth. I was given a protective constriction garment to wear (which is very important to keep on after the surgery for at least three days if not longer I was told). I showered 24 hours after my surgery. I did get lightheaded in the shower and had to sit down for a moment. I was pretty sore day one and day two, but now, day three I had a much easier time getting out of bed and moving around. When I look at my legs I feel pretty great about the results so far. I know I'm going to be swollen for a few weeks but I can tell I'm going to love the results! I have a thigh gap, something I have never had…ever. Each day someone from SonoBello has called to check on me.

I'm also doing the Venus legacy treatments. I did one before the surgery and have seven left. This process will help smooth out any cellulite, wrinkling and will help shape my legs even better. If I can remember to do so, I will post before and after pics in a few weeks. I would highly recommend the Cincinnati location on Montgomery Road. The staff is amazing.

I went into Sono Bello in October 2017 (Sacramento, CA) with all the information and with the idea to get it done. I was told right from the beginning after I saw the doctor from my pre-op, that there was going to be a considerable swelling period and there would be a considerable amount of drainage. This was true. However, I feel great and confident that this procedure has worked. Swelling and drainage are expected, but I feel like a million bucks and would suggest this to anyone that could. My doctor was amazing, he took his time. They told me what to expect, the pain, the recovery time, and what they would be doing. I had the upper, lower and my hips done in November 2017 on a Friday and I went back to work on Monday, the only pain that I had after a couple of days was getting in and out of a chair, but that only lasted about a week or so.

I had the bra roll done in January 2018, I have been very happy with the results. I had some pain but I expected that, and when it comes to taking pain medications, I am a lightweight so most of the procedure I don’t remember. I could get into a dress that I purchased two years before, that was a great feeling. My doctor and all the staff was great. I went in with the weight of 168 pounds and now in August 2018, I am down to 152 pounds, I have seven more pounds to go for my ideal weight, and gone from a size 18 to 14, almost down to a 12. I have had so many co-workers notice all the weight that I have lost, and they don’t know that I had it done, but you do need to do your part in eating right. I went in for my six-month checkup and had a question for my doctor and he was in surgery but I could wait until he completed with the other patient, He checked me out said that it was just loss skin so I am getting the Venus treatments for ten weeks at no extra charge. I am sorry for the others had a terrible experience. This is not a permanent fix unless you change your lifestyle, but it certainly gives you a job or kickstart to get the body you’re looking for!

My doctor and the staff there were fantastic. It has only been 2 weeks since my procedure and I am anxiously awaiting the final results. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.
