    A waste of money.

    • Cookville, TX,
    • Jun 30, 2015

I bought the 8 oz. size of Tan Physics based on, what I now realize, were excellent reviews by the company itself.

The product smells great, and the color is good, however I couldn't wash it off my palms. I've used a pumice stone, and even a bleach cleanser, but there's still permanent staining. After the second day my skin became horribly dry, something I rarely have a problem with. While putting on moisturizer, much of the color came off onto my hands.

I will absolutely go back to the previous brand I used.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

What is the previous brand you used, please?

I believe all the negative comments because the positive ones are obviously from the Company. They have to put the positive response so they can keep selling this crap! I will not be buying this and I am going to flag it on Facebook because it came up on my feed. Another scam to get money with a horrible product.

    Terribly drying product.

    • St. Simons Island. 31522,
    • Jun 28, 2015

I used Tan Physics on the basis of their own reviews. Mistake. It's three days later and my legs are flaking off skin and I have a grossly spotted tan. It is truly ugly. A friend tried it too, with similar results.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Sucks! Return my money please

    • California ,

This product sucks! Sticky, makes you look orange, creates streaks and smells very strong. I agree with everything St. Louis said. My palms are the most tanned after extensive washing. It is practically chocolate syrup. I am never putting it on my face again. Completely overpriced after seeing the low quality product and bottling. Tan does not look natural. Jergens is still the best.

    Crap. Returning it.

    • St. Louis ,
    • Jun 8, 2015

I bought the 2 month supply, the Pre-Tan Exfoliant & the Tan Extender. The 1st time I used it, not wanting to turn orange or get streaks, I got on their site & followed their instructions on the 'How to use' to a tee. The next day, I didn't see any color at all, neither did my husband. They do say you'll see color the 1st time you apply it. The site also says if you want to get darker, apply again the next day.

I figured I've already dropped over a $100 bucks on it so I'll try it again. The next day I did another application. I finally saw color on my feet. I did try it one more time, a total of 3 applications & really only saw color on my feet. And no matter how much I wiped my hands off when applying it & scrubbing them after, my palms looked like they had a dark nasty nicotine stain. I applied 3 days in a row & never seen any color other than my feet. They say it suppose to hydrate & moisturize your skin, but my skin was so dry and my face & chest actually broke out. I tried their Tan Extender to help moisturize & only got to my legs. The Tan Extender dried my legs out even more, made them look ashy.

Save your money, Tan Physics is a way over priced self tanner. I'm going to return all of it. Hopefully they'll stick to their money back guarantee.

Thanks for taking the time to post your review. You've saved me and many others the hassle and expense of trying it.

If used correctly and in combination with the before and after products this tanning lotion does exactly what it promises. I am extremely happy with it and most people I know that use all 3 are equally as happy. leave a very gorgeous natural looking tan. Be sure to use their or at least some type of good exfoliater to rid dry skin in shower. Then apply nice even coverage everywhere wanting a tan. Cover lightly around knee's, ankles and palms this is common knowledge with any tanner. Then after you have applied it and built it to the tan color you like add the Tan extender after product to keep the tan longer and keep you moisturized. Use the tan extender as often as you please seeing it has a great moisturizer in it to keep your skin looking and feeling great. Come on people it's not brain surgery this is easy stuff and if done correctly leave you looking wonderful. LOVE IT!

    Didn't work for us.

Tan Physics did not perform the way they hyped it up to be. We used it and did not shower for two days and when we did it washed off and left my skin with blotches.

It does not live up to its hype. Too bad because it smells real nice and dried fast but it did not moisturize your skin like they say it does/

Seems like the comments saying how good this product is, has obviously been posted by the company. Wording from each positive comment are the same hype! I believe the other comments saying this is a horrible product and I would NEVER purchase it.

    I thought it wasn't bad

    • Feb 22, 2015

I personally don't really have any issues with this product other than you must wash your hands immediately after use or you're stuck with dark palms and weird half and half coloring through your fingers. I saw my tan within 3 hours from my first time. I have a nice glow and skin is soft.

I only bought the tanning bottles, 5 to be exact, pretty silly of me. Try to put less on the face and really work it in carefully.

    Surprised at the negative reviews

    • Chicago, IL,
    • Jul 11, 2014

Must admit that the day after using for the first time I was extremely disappointed, hardly any color change at all especially on my legs. But I decided to give it another try and proceeded with a second application and then the following day a third. At last, I have a tan and a very natural one at that.

This product smells great, dries within 15 minutes so you can wear your clothes, does not leave you feeling sticky and for me, moisturizes and leaves my skin feeling soft. It also does not come off on you clothes or sheets as much as other self tanners.

I'm about to buy another bottle. I do however think it should be darker, you need to apply every couple of days so the bottle certainly does not last long and is therefore expensive.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Amazing Product

    • Houston, TX,

I wonder about all the negative reviews on this site. I just started using Tan Physics and I could not be more pleased. It tans evenly and naturally. It would not be as popular as it is if it were not a good product.
