Tecovas, I assume that unless comments are patting you on the back, you don't want to hear them. I am getting tired of hearing how great you are when I cannot get a simple order. The soonest would be best. THANK YOU.

I bought my first pair of boots ever, The Duke Pecan Ostrich. The Tecovas site said buy the same size as a pair of quality dress shoes. I chose my natural size of 9.5. They were too big due to too much heel lift. I returned them for a size 9 with the included return label. I put the boots on, they were snug across the top of the foot with nice toe room and a little heel lift. All the websites say that is a proper boot fit. I conditioned them as suggested and wore them for two hours. I was amazed of the comfort as they are not even broken in yet! These boots feel like slippers. I am already saving for the Top line Alligator Boots. Great job Tecova. I will be a custom for life!

After looking at them in the Tecovas store, I ordered a pair of Jasper in my size. The boots arrived quickly but were subpar. The dye on the Ostrich skin was really splotchy and non-matching pieces of skin were used in the same boot. I took them back to the store, and the clerk lectured me on smooth Ostrich skin and that there was nothing wrong with the boots. I showed her the display Jasper pair, which were basically perfect, and she did not have an explanation and refunded my money. I have four other pairs of Tecovas including another pair of Jasper and am happy with all of them. They should not have sent the pair I received and should train their employees to argue about clearly defective boots in hopes of avoiding a refund.

I received these boots about three months ago and they felt kind of tight in my right foot. I called customer service and they informed me that it will stretch in time. I used the boots constantly, hoping it will stretch, and I got positive comments from other people and friends. I'm really disappointed because I have been using my boots for about three months and my boots are still too tight and my foot is starting to hurt.

I wear boots every day. I bought a pair of the lizard and they look nice, but are the least comfortable boots I have ever purchased. The heel is too loose with my foot in the boot, but they are extremely hard to get off your foot. Their return policy is a joke. Only "un-worn" boots can be returned? "No scratches on the bottom"? Unless I walk across the floor, how do I know? I should have read their BS policy before purchasing, I got scammed! Lesson learned! Never again will I buy boots from a no-name. You get what you pay for! If anyone wants to try a pair of 10D's with 15 steps on them, look at the Goodwill in San Antonio! That's where mine are going!

While the boots were new, they looked and seemed of quality materials. After wearing them for about a year (about two times a week) the leather on the upper part of the shaft split and showed a thin rope under the very thin leather. Then on the toe of the sole the leather wore completely out so as to show the inner sole. I believe that the leather that is used to make these boots is of inferior quality leather. Of course I am not a leather expert and this is just my opinion.

I purchased a pair of The Annie in November of 2021. I liked them so much that I purchased another pair in the color midnight. I received them in February. I was out and about last weekend and the heel fell off. The bottoms of the boots were also so worn out for only having them a month. I cannot recommend Tecovas boots.

The boots are ok but way overpriced. I would give them a 5.1 overall. I have had much more inexpensive boots that are so much better.

Overall the quality of the boots and clothing I’ve received has been great. However, when it comes to communication on item delays or items going out of stock, the company fails. In order to receive any information regarding orders, you will personally have to reach out. Including pending orders that go out of stock before shipping.

I received a pair of Tecovas suede boots as a gift and was surprised at the looks and comfort of the boots. I really thought that the company had come up with a great product reasonably priced.

Alas, after wearing the boots 3-4 times, the sole of one boot started coming apart, something I had never experienced before. I called the company to inform them of my experience, received a really off the wall explanation with no effort to correct the problem. A bootmaker friend of mine had previously informed me that Tecovas boots were extremely cheaply made in Mexico and to avoid them - BOY was he right! Tecovas runs a well-oiled commercial and replies to complaints with pure BS.

STAY AWAY from Tecovas boots, or you will be sorry! I would rate 1/2 star if available.

I ordered my Tecovas for Christmas and found I needed a half size larger. I returned the boots an have not heard from Tecovas 13 days later. I left an email message a week ago and today as well and have not heard or confirmed they received my boots back or have sent the larger pair. Not a good way to start this relationship.
