It is uncomfortable to use because it has these plastic pieces that dig into your scalp. Mine stopped working within 3 months. I paid for the extended warranty, but I have been able to get no support from the company to fix my device. Total waste of money.

I agree 100% with all the other reviews when they say it does not work. First, it's expensive, and two, it does not work properly. It has lights that don't work on the right side; they flick on and off. It's also not effective at all for hair loss. I would not recommend this Theradome laser cap at all, unless you want to throw money down the loo.

Quite a few years ago I began to have the curse of the "aging female hair thinning". I had successful micro hair plugs but after about 5-7 years the benefits became minimal. The physician (top-notch) recommended a Theradome helmet. In about 6 months I noticed both hair growth and STRONGER hair. If you're a woman, you know how - for who knows what reason - good hair is for us. The benefits have persisted and I am truly delighted. I'll never go without a Theradome - the new model supposedly (according to the MD) is a stronger laser, and still safe, needs to be used only about twice a week - easy - and so I've ordered it today! If you're suffering with thinning, weak hair - DO IT! And USE IT!

I purchased this unit about 2 years ago. I was excited because I saw it on one of the Doctor's shows or something like that. I tried it for a few months, maybe 6 months, because all the reviews said it takes a while to work. It didn't do much for me. I did over 100 treatments, being ever so hopeful. I saw a little grow but my hair started shedding when I discontinued the use of the product. I wish I could get a refund. It cost so much money and 90 days is not enough time to test the product. It might work for some but didn't work for me.

Theradome is a terrible and unethical company. It was taking a very long time to charge when I received the unit. For a year, they said it was a faulty charger so I went through three chargers they kept sending. Five days after the one-year warranty expired, the unit failed to take a charge at all. The battery inside the unit was faulty, not the charger. So I have a $600 piece of unusable plastic after 1 year. And during the one year, I did not see hair growth.

This is a total scam on so many levels.

(1) I've been using the product for 10 months with little to no results.

(2) The item is so badly made, the battery dies. And when I contacted Theradome, they asked that I write them a positive review in return for a "free" replacement battery. Basically, at this point, they have you eating out of their hand. God only knows how many of these 5-star reviews are real.

(3) Only that the battery is not free; they work with their shipper to milk you on brokerage charges.

(4) When you contact them to sort out the brokerage charges, they ghost you. Yes, Theradome, the ticket that you closed without resolving anything is 202046032.

(5) Food for thought: They give you a 6-month money-back guarantee, but say you'll only see the potential "hair growth" from 6–9 months. Go figure.

(6) So, if you still want to try, buy them through Costco. That way, you can return this piece of crap when you realize beyond the 6-month money-back guarantee period that it doesn't work.

Theradome system is so simple to use. It's a part of my daily routine and that is without thought or hassle.

I have been using the Theradome Helmut for 9 months now. It really works and has helped me grow back my hair...thicker, stronger, and healthier!

My initial results were obvious hair regrowth after month three, then month six more coverage and thickness, and now at month nine, it's upkeep and a welcomed head of hair for my bald and balding scalp areas.

The Theradome uses organic lasers which penetrate down to the hair follicle. All competitors use inferior optics which do not penetrate as deep and are therefore not as effective!

I've tried a lot of products for my thinning hair. All required some sort of subscription service, with monthly deliveries, or just blown up claims with actors that pass off as actual users, just to sell the product. The Theradome is the easiest and most convenient product out there. No subscription service or bogus claims. You buy it once, and wear it on your schedule. It's rechargeable, futuristic, and lets you know when it's done. It really is the best offer money can buy.

I started using the Theradome product several years ago, September of 2016, and noticed improvement rather quickly. Unfortunately, I started the process so long ago that I do not recall the number of days or weeks that passed prior to noticing a positive change. That said, my recollection is that I noticed new growth rather quickly in the front hairline edge. Subsequently, my hair became thicker and the parts I would make on the top of my head from the center crown area to the front hairline edge appeared to have significantly more hair and less of an appearance of thinning than before I started using the product.

I was very happy then and have, resultantly, continued using the product and will continue to do so for as long as it is working and available if it needs replacing.
