Tommie Copper Knee Sleeves works for me!

By Rachael Friend , Morgantown. NV

I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and always try to keep my joints "loose" by working out. About 6 weeks ago, I was exercising and landed on my left foot an odd way and felt my entire left knee shift/move out of place.

I was in severe pain and nothing seemed to help. I even saw a specialist who recommended physical therapy. Well, I gave in and ordered a pair of the silicone-free knee sleeves and a set of the half finger gloves, because I suffer from my knuckles swelling and hand stiffness pain all the time. My order came in and after I opened the package I immediately put in on my bad knee. Wow.

Within an hour I was WALKING NORMAL again. This was the first time in weeks I was able to walk without limping! I tried the gloves and they work like a charm. Thank you Tommie Copper for giving me my life back and taking the pain away. I wear this product all the time, except for bathing. I love it and it's the REAL DEAL.

Amazing things happening!

By Darryl , Montgomery, NY

The first Tommie Copper product I tried was the half finger gloves, roughly four months ago. Believe me when I tell you that as soon as I put them on my hand and finger, the pain was gone! Being a carpenter for over 35 years and add to that a family history of arthritis, it's fair to say that my hands are beat up and in constant pain, sometimes to the point that the pain wakes me up at night. Not anymore thanks to these miraculous gloves.

Since then I've purchased two of the short sleeve shirts and a pair of the shorts, the majority of my shoulder and hip pain disappear when I wear them. I'll be buying the tights and the long sleeve shirts to wear under my clothes in the winter months, and I fully expect any sudden knee and/or elbow pain to be relieved. I wish I would've listened to my elders when I was young when they all told me to take care of my body, but no, I was invincible.

Getting old sucks, but it sure beats the other option. Thanks to the Tommie Copper products, my old bones and joints feel quite a bit younger when I wear them. That's my story and I'm sticking to you.

The WORST Customer Service

By Phil , Richardson, TX

It is 9/27 and I ordered the product on 9/01. I would LOVE to write a review of the product, but the Tommie Copper customer "service" is so bad that I STILL have not received it. I have been told it has shipped when it hasn't and now I have been told that the order cannot be canceled even though it has not shipped over 3 weeks after it was ordered and has still not yet even been shipped! They told me that they had to ship it and then I had to return it for credit. Is that just to cover their poor service to upper management? Or do they really care that little about the level of service they provide? Ridiculous and disappointing.

Bad Service

By Gary , Florida

I placed an order on September 9th. Now I have called twice because their web site said item has not been shipped yet. I was told twice that the item would be shipped the next day. I still have not received the product as of October 1st. They have problems.

Absolutely loved the over the calf compression socks

By Steve , Houston, TX

I have DPN so the circulation in my feet and ankles is very poor. Normal compression socks are helpful but not a panacea. I ordered some Tommie Copper over the calf compression socks last week and fell in love with the feel and comfort immediately. I have no ankle swelling and my toes are "very happy!" I cannot wait to order more.

Knee Sleeve

By Bruce Henneman , Landisburg, PA

I have had my Tommie Copper knee sleeves for almost six months. I have found that the top rubberized band of the sleeves cause me to break out with a red rash that becomes very sore in a short time. I folded the band down so I could continue to wear the sleeve which do provide comfort. Unfortunately, the sleeves slide down when the band is folded over and I experience a loose pair of knee sleeves. I am disappointed with my sleeves and that they do not meet my expectations.

Poor customer relations.

By Rick Holt , Pennsylvania

They do not honor their online offers. Other compression items work just as well in my opinion.

A welcomed relief

By Robert Graham, Lake placid, NY, Verified Reviewer

Me: 30 years old, 135 pounds. Ailments: pain from head to toe swelling in many areas.

For 13 years I have been fighting to find a diagnosis for the pain and swelling in my body. I wake every morning with my hands swollen three times the normal size with an achey shooting dull pain that feels as though it is deep in my bones and joints. Upper and lower back pain that shoots down my legs with swelling in those joints as well. I am still hoping someone can find a reason for this, but in the meantime, I've been suffering through every year getting worse and more frequent, and for the last two years has been constant. It used to only happen every few months and only last a few weeks. The swelling pushed on nerves that just add to the already deep dull pain. As a person who won't take much more than ibuprofin, I just live with it.

Since the past two years have been so much worse, I've tried everything; bone broths, adding tumeric to everything I eat, more ibuprofen, cutting gluten, more ibuprofen, and finally Tommie Copper gloves, back support, sleeves for my knees and the socks. I started with the gloves since my hands up to the elbow bother me the most. I did not have any expectations since nothing else has worked. Around my third day of wearing the gloves, I was waking mid-night as usual in panic from severe pain and swelling. Every time, before I was awake enough to even be able to think, my first instinct was to rip those gloves off as fast as possible. I even thought for a while that they were making it worse. I kept wearing them regardless and I started noticing after about a week that the swelling was much much less but the ache and pain was still there. Well, I was happy at least the swelling went down enough to move my fingers.

Today, I am still wearing them and it has been about seven months. My swelling in my hands is minimal at best, which has stopped aggravating the nerves. The dull throbbing shooting aches that went all up my arm do not wake me in the night as often. When the pain does wake me, it's no long shooting from fingertip to elbow. It's much more localized to mostly my middle, pointer, and ring fingers, which to me is success and when wearing the gloves is minimal. I am no longer waking in the middle of the night crying. They are not a cure-all, but I am happy to sleep better and be able to use my hands (I wasn't even able to text without unbearable pain). It did take some time until things got better, but today I'm ever so grateful to Tommie Copper compression.

Now, I know that in researching the technology behind it, you will find much skepticism, especially in the benefit of the copper. I cannot comment on what correct and what's not; all I can tell you is that I have tried other compression products. In my experience, the other products become filthy and stinky and hard to use for all day use and eventually stretch out until unusable. My pain is most certainly less with copper-lined products. I don't know much about the positive ion benefits; all I know is the antimicrobial properties of copper make it easy for all day and night use of the products, they do not become stinky and unwearable, and my pain is considerably less with Tommie Copper. Something is working better with copper products rather than just plain compression.

I ended up also purchasing then back supoort, knee sleeves, and socks and I'm happy to say that, although not pain free, I'm able to do normal things without being miserable, negative, mean, and nasty because I'm no longer constantly battling severe pain that was driving me to a point of near insanity. Thank you so much, Tommie Copper, you've made my quality of life so much better when no one else could help.

I'm very disappointed and not satisfied

By nelson vasquez , Bronx, NY

I have seen commercial, news items. I bought a pair of red knee compression sleeve - order # 1548894. returned first time, received second pair. I felt some relief, after 2 weeks the sleeves would not stay above my knees, kept rolling down. I emailed Tommie Copper, no one returned my email, I guess they have my payment no need to answer. I am an unsatisfied customer, will not purchase any more. I don't wear them anymore.

Compression is good, but it's nothing new here

By Anonymous , Houston, TX

As an active cyclist, I've been wearing compression gear on my legs during and after competition for years and it does aid in recovery. The Tommie Copper stuff is fine, but is no better than 2XU, which has been in the business of compression for many years. I simply have an issue with the exaggerated claims in the commercials, specifically the rodeo rider ad. The riders claims that by simply wearing the Tommie Copper compression shirt, his old shoulder injury (that limited his range of motion and some of his strength) has practically disappeared. By wearing a t-shirt, this kind of thing just doesn't happen. It's false advertising. Period. Compression is good and another (decent) product in the mix helps keep competition up and manufacturers on point. That being said, don't believe everything you hear or read.
