Skeptics opinion

By Peter ,

I never buy into over-hyped products and claims for Health, food, etc. Never!

I build advanced composite "things" and have been suffering arthritis in the left hand and fingers. Couldn't snap the fingers on the left hand to save me.

Well I received the Tommie Copper fingerless gloves for Christmas. First impression is how can I wear these things working or in public or sailing? They don't look like they will hold up in my daily use.

I put the left hand glove on and to my complete surprise was able to snap my fingers! Take the glove off, no go.

If I have to wear these things under another pair of gloves, so be it! For me, the biggest non-believer, they work.

I have not yet tried to hold or manipulate tools yet. If the very least they provide is post work relief, they are a total success!

Knee compression

By Tony , Lakewood, NJ

I had surgery on my left knee (meniscus) and continued having pain. I ordered the Tommie Copper knee compression sleeve and in a matter of days I had relief. Needless to say I had problems with the right knee, Tommie Copper to the rescue, and once again relief. Now I have tendonitis and ordered the elbow sleeve. I can't wait for it to come. Positive thinking it will work.

Absolutely loved the over the calf compression socks

By Steve , Houston, TX

I have DPN so the circulation in my feet and ankles is very poor. Normal compression socks are helpful but not a panacea. I ordered some Tommie Copper over the calf compression socks last week and fell in love with the feel and comfort immediately. I have no ankle swelling and my toes are "very happy!" I cannot wait to order more.

Still Waiting.

By Heather , Buffalo, NY

I ordered the Tommie Copper product over a month ago. After waiting for 3 weeks, I called to check on the status of my order and was told it had not shipped due to a change in their warehouse. They offered to ship a new one. I then received e-mails repeating that there was a "warehouse change" and the product would ship on the 29th, and a subsequent one stating it would ship on the 2nd.

On the 12th, I again called to see where my product was, and was told it had shipped over a month before, but Fed-Ex had lost it in transport. Needless to say they were unable to provide a package number.

I requested to cancel the order, but am still waiting for my refund, and can no longer access my account at their website.

Not impressed

By Anita S. , New York

I am not impressed by the product nor customer service. I ordered 2 of the knee sleeves that were a clearance product and I had a coupon code to save 15% off. I had already placed my order so I called to see if they could apply the coupon code. They told me that they couldn't make any adjustments to an order so I asked if I could cancel it then and place the order again online with the coupon code. They said no. So I asked to speak to a manager and got a response that my problem wasn't an urgent matter. Since payment was still pending I canceled payment. I replaced my order and they double charged me. Then I receive the product and the first day it felt fine stayed up. Every day since it has fallen.

Surprised on may levels

By K D Butler , Toronto Ontario Canada

I was first surprised to find this advertised on a Canadian TV station showing a Canadian (both teams) hockey game to then order it and find it is a company in the US and comes from Georgia. Unusual to find advertised products coming from US - usually already in Canada. Second I was very surprised at the price. Much higher than I thought but, then I went ahead and ordered two knee supports. For close to $100 a small package shows up in the mail (shipping cost over priced) in a fancy bag and end up by being two flimsy looking fancy pieces of nylon/silk fabric for an outrageous price. Could have taken an old pair of panty hose and wrapped them around my knee for nothing. So not impressed on these points. Now I'll wait and see how my knees opinions are.

Bad Service

By Gary , Florida

I placed an order on September 9th. Now I have called twice because their web site said item has not been shipped yet. I was told twice that the item would be shipped the next day. I still have not received the product as of October 1st. They have problems.

Poor service

By Amy , Texas

I ordered the arthritis relief gloves seven days ago. When I emailed to inquire about order status, I was told about a glitch in their system And my order will not ship for three more days. Of course my credit card has already been charged. I called Tommie Copper to cancel the order and was told that once an order has been placed that it cannot be canceled. Now keep in mind the product hasn't even shipped yet. The customer service agent did let me know that I could return the item. So who would know if Tommie Copper products actually work or if they are a scam?! I know I will not be finding out.

With such poor customer service, I will be returning the product. I do not want their products now. Almost forgot, the customer service rep did send me a free return label after I complained about having to pay to return the product.

The WORST Customer Service

By Phil , Richardson, TX

It is 9/27 and I ordered the product on 9/01. I would LOVE to write a review of the product, but the Tommie Copper customer "service" is so bad that I STILL have not received it. I have been told it has shipped when it hasn't and now I have been told that the order cannot be canceled even though it has not shipped over 3 weeks after it was ordered and has still not yet even been shipped! They told me that they had to ship it and then I had to return it for credit. Is that just to cover their poor service to upper management? Or do they really care that little about the level of service they provide? Ridiculous and disappointing.

Feels great!

By Dana , Boise, Idaho

I had surgery on my ankle four months ago. Metal plates and screws were put in. Walking at this point, I feel things pop and feel very unstable.

I bought several ankle braces at drug stores. They were so uncomfortable, pokey, and I couldn't wear them very long. They actually caused more pain, than relief.

The Tommie Copper ankle sleeve is smooth, soft, just the right amount of tightness, and gives me the stability I need. I really love the way it feels! The only negative was like others said, the shipping took forever.

Ankle support

By Jason , Ottawa, Canada

Did not help at all. Money spent in hope of relieving some ankle pain could have been used on some good insoles. No harm in trying. When you are in pain anything is worth a try.
