Disappointed

By Gail Delano, Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada, Verified Reviewer

Pan was always washed by hand, no metal ever touched its surface, I always used a light oil for cooking, and never cooked on high. It lasted about two months.

I am very disappointed, especially after paying a high price for the pan.

I would not recommend this cookware to anyone.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Don't waste your money

By Rosaline Barnes-Ford, Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I bought this pan thinking it would be wonderful. No oil needed it said, easy slide out of food, yadda yadda. Everything sticks to it. Save your money. What they claim is a load of bull and they should be offering your money back.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Works great

By Jeannette Hancock, Georgia, Verified Reviewer

I purchased the omelet pan online and got the second one free. Although I have not tried purposely to burn anything to see if it slides off, I did, however, get caught up with the kids while cooking round steak (no oil, butter or additive of any kind), burnt the meat, and when I got in there I dumped the burnt meat and wiped out the pan. No damages to the coating or the pan. I cooked four eggs at a time in this skillet (added butter because I like my eggs cooked in butter) and all turned easily and came out great, no busted yokes. I have purchased one for my daughter and will continue to try the different products they offer.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Very disappointing. "Non-stick" lasted a couple of weeks, maybe.

By Elliot R Fisch, Delray Beach, FL, Verified Reviewer

We got the 10" pan and it has, since almost the start, never had the ease of sliding food and clean up. Even using a fat like butter and oil this doesn't work.

I wouldn't buy one of these again. I bought a different brand and had the same results. And I'm a pretty decent cook.

Save your money.

9” pan doesn’t live up to its promise

By Anthony Lucero, Denver, CO, Verified Reviewer

I bought this pan at Walmart several months ago and am very disappointed with its performance. It has not lived up to its promises. In order to use it, I need to spray it with cooking spray and put oil in the pan. I tried to return it to Walmart, but they said I need to mail it back to the manufacturer at my expense. I wanted to order other cooking implements, but because of the performance of this pan, they've lost my business.

These pans are no good

By Thomas Penney, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, Verified Reviewer

This pan is one year old. At first, it was good, but then after about two months things started to stick to it, and now you can't fry anything on this junk without it sticking to it so bad that you got to scrape it off. And I don't have my bill now, and Canadian Tire will not take it back, so I guess I am stuck with it. That is what happens when you get SCAMMED.

Terrible

By Baby Lange, Saint Charles, MO, Verified Reviewer

Where to start...

First, I bought the 10-piece set a couple days before Christmas. I’ve seen all the commercials about how awesome this product is, so thought I would try it.

The first time it was awesome and didn’t stick one bit! The second time started the whole problem. I made egg sandwiches and the eggs stuck in the pan and did not slide off like shown or stated!

I used one of the pans today to make pancakes, and the first round was okay (stuck around the edges), but after the second pancake I couldn’t even get them off the pan, and the bottom of the pan has black spots and will not come off, even in the dishwasher!

It was not worth the $110.00 for the set!

Very sad product and quality

By Gary White, Louisville, KY, Verified Reviewer

The pan sticks and the surface is coming off. Gotham said tough and would not stand behind the product. The pan is about 6 months old and has not been abused. Everything sticks if you do not spray with Pam.

I will not purchase anything from Gotham again.

Frying pan surface is defective

By Jeffrey Search, Ohio, Verified Reviewer

The pan has cracks on the surface, and it lost its no-stick capability. I wouldn't recommend this product for purchase. I am really disappointed and will look elsewhere for other cooking products.

Expensive pan, not worth the money

By Jim Wilson, Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada, Verified Reviewer

After watching numerous TV ads about how non-sticking these pans were supposed to be, we bought a Gotham 6094 12(?) inch fry pan. We used this pan exclusively on a glass top stove and have never used it in the oven.

Almost from day one, it has not lived up to the hype. At first, it required a little extra effort to remove residue. We have used only a dishwashing detergent, no harsh materials or agents. When cooking some foods, we have added oil, but in some instances, all that appeared to do was give the pan something else to stick.

After having this particular pan for approximately eight months, it is a disaster. Virtually everything we cook sticks to it and requires extra effort to clean.

I will not recommend this product to any family or friends that may be contemplating a purchase.

Lousy pan

By Sandra Rose, Verified Reviewer

I have several pieces of Gotham Pans. For the most part, they are as good as any nonstick pan as far as cleanup. The griddle had residue after warming flour tortillas, i.e., burn. Paper towel (ha), scrubber (ha), magic eraser (ha); a razor blade like for glass top range removed most. I think I will retire this fairly new pan to the trash.

I also have the 12” skillet, and it has a sticking problem. Hmmm.
