Customer service

By Linda, Loveland, CO, Verified Reviewer

I have ordered from here several times and was always happy with the product, good prices, everything always packaged well, and good delivery time. With my last order, I had issues on some pricing during my ordering process, so I contacted customer service before processing the order. What a huge mistake. They have absolutely horrible customer service. I will not order again.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

They have been great!

By Ed Jonah, Minneapolis, MN, Verified Reviewer

Why the name? So, I had to check them out. Best prices overall, big time! I checked the top five on the web three or so years ago, and none could match even close. On the first order, the vinegar broke and froze in bubble wrap, but they were quick to replace, and I am pleased with cheery gals in customer service. On the second order, I thought an item was missing, my bad, and they sent out another at no charge, but then I found the first one. I will tell them about this order and get back to you on the response. God bless.

Absolutely a negative experience

By Marco Damiano, Milan, Italy, Verified Reviewer

Negative experience. An order was made six months ago, products never arrived, no reply to the various mails sent, and no return of the payment made. Customer support is non-existent. To be avoided absolutely, the few orders that were successful in the positive reviews read here are not worth the risk of losing their money unnecessarily in the vain hope of receiving what paid and getting nervous to try to get in touch with the company that has cashed the payment.

Fake vitamins and minerals

By Mike, Verified Reviewer

I have a Vitamin D deficiency, and I have ordered a super high dose of Vitamin D 10000 UI 90 caps. But after three months I felt no positive effect. Then I bought a 2000 UI dose from my local store and can feel the difference from day one. Even with such a high dose, Piping Rock has no effect at all! The same thing with a multi vitamin/mineral that I bought from Piping Rock, I feel no effect from the multivitamin. Their products are NOT genuine! The vitamins, minerals, oils, herbs...all are fake!

It was delivered.

By Dmitry Sergeev, Valparaiso, Chile, Verified Reviewer

Hello from Chile. In November 2017 I purchased two packs of vitamins k2, and it was delivered today, the 16th of March 2018. It was delivered by DHL (e-commerce), after asking I received a tracking number but it was a waste of time because of it has not tracking after it arrived in my country.

In customs, I asked about conditions of delivery, and they responded about the necessity of some certificates of safety.

My opinion is that the Piping Rock company sent the product, but because of the cheap cost of delivery and bureaucracy of customs or health service of the country, it took too much time to deliver it. And I can't blame the company.

Credit card issue

By Attorney MvA, Florida, Verified Reviewer

I ordered for the first time from Piping Rock in January of 2017; it is a product that is of great help to me. I wanted to order more today, March 12th, and while checking out on the website, I tried to order with my credit card number, however, Piping Rock had my ATM card on file that was a "link" and would not allow a change to another credit card. The only other option was PP, which I do not use.

Here's what's curious: I've changed banks back in November of 2017 and therefore am alarmed that Piping Rock has my NEW ATM card number. Their online chat rep upon questioning kept skirting the issue, ie., was unable to give a straight answer as to why they had my NEW ATM card number from NEW bank, why I could not change credit cards to pay for the purchase, and why I could not cancel the order without their involvement.

I cross-examined their online chat rep who after going around and around in circles never did give a straight answer, but my ATM card number remains on their system. What kind of business practices are these? Any other merchant does not send a purchase to a bank or credit card in a NANOSECOND and/or after email confirmation of the purchase. Something doesn't add up here...

Update

By J Reid, Belfast, Northern Ireland, Verified Reviewer

I managed to view my parcel, and the company had inflated the true cost of the items, putting it over the threshold for incurring a customs and handling fee. I sent photographic evidence to the company that it was their responsibility and they should refund me. They are ignoring my emails. I'm not sure how the benefit from inflating the cost, which they have also done with other people reviewing, but there is something dodgy about the company.

This is a scam for UK customers

By Anna T, United Kingdom, Verified Reviewer

I bought goods in the UK, however, the goods arrived from the US. I had to pay £17 for each parcel fees in addition to the purchase price and postages. The contact with the company was unsatisfactory and disappointing. Do not buy any goods from them, looks like a scam.

Very bad deal

By Thomas Justin, Texas, Verified Reviewer

After reading all the health benefits of nuts, I ordered two pounds of walnuts last week from this company. The price was reasonable. When I opened the package it smells bad. Then I tasted it and it tasted equally bad also.

I emailed and called the company, and they asked me to return the nuts for a refund. It sounds like a good business policy, but shipping them back almost cost me almost the same as the nuts. So I threw them in the trash. I strongly think when a company sends something bad, they should replace it without any charges to the customer. If it is a while after delivery, then their policy is ok. This one, I called them immediately after opening the package.

By the way, I wrote a review on their product website, and it never showed up in their product reviews.

Don't bother

By Jules Hazard, Birmingham, United Kingdom, Verified Reviewer

I have waited over two months for my order. I have sent various emails and received no response. Their "live" chat "person" must have died as there is no response from him/her either. Very poor all round. If this is how they treat their customers, makes one wonder what their product is really like? I went back to Healthspan; a little more expensive but quick delivery and trustworthy.

I hate writing this, so much as being negative, but this company has done nothing to address my queries. They still have my money.

I would never recommend this company.

Rip off

By Denise Jones, Wigan, United Kingdom, Verified Reviewer

I received my order, which I had already queried the final price, which nothing was done about. I had to pay £12.25 ($17.11) customs, on the box it said to pay on orders over £15 ($20.95). My order was just over £13 ($18.16). A man called Michael Rudolph has put a sticker on the side of the box, custom-made declaration saying that the cost of the order is £30.50 ($42.60).

Not happy at all!
