Not quite what they promised

By Jackie R., California, Verified Reviewer

My 61-year-old arms and legs are all crepey, so I tried the Crepe Erase route. I noticed a slight change but not enough to warrant a continued subscription. I tried my own solution - a homemade shower scrub and a cocoa butter moisturizer - and the results were the same. When I called to cancel the subscription, Crepe Erase encouraged me to stay and provided me with a 'gift' of additional moisturizer and facial creams. I accepted the gift - moisturizer is a good thing. I did cancel several days later to ensure I don't get another subscription charge.

Shame on Jane and Melissa! Two thumbs down!

By Diane M., California, Verified Reviewer

I am 57 and decided to try Crepe Erase after seeing the moving TV testimonials from celebrities Jane Seymour and Melissa Gilbert as well as several teary-eyed customers delighted by their results.

Well, first off, these products contain all manner of chemicals and preservatives and the body scrub also has micro-beads which, while perhaps effective for exfoliation, get into our environment and our oceans and NEVER break down thus contributing to plastic pollution.

I want no part of this, and I am appalled that both Jane Seymour and Melissa Gilbert are willing to put their names to a product, which not only doesn't work (as promised), but also is very bad for our health and our environment.

90-day supply. Not even close.

By Lisa Mewborn, California, Verified Reviewer

I decided to give this product a try. It seems to moisturize ok. But who knows if it really works. They claim to send a 90-day supply..."pah-leeze!" Not even close. I am a Small/Medium sized 130-pound woman who practices good skin care. Even using the minimum any normal person would use, I could not get near to 90-day use. I called their customer service and was told to just buy more if I expect to have 90 days use, or have my shipment sent earlier, but still pay the same price for the so-called 90-day supply. So my question is, is anyone out there actually getting 90 days out of their products?

Does NOT work

By Theresa Flexter, Ellisville, MO, Verified Reviewer

I tried/used this product for five months to give it an opportunity to work. It does not work. I used it according to all directions. I paid $70.13 a month for it. Then when I tried to cancel, they told me I still had to pay two more months at $70.13 before they canceled. I returned the last box I just got, so I will see if they will reimburse me. Do NOT purchase this product!

What a rip off

By Cathy Clute, Factoryville, PA, Verified Reviewer

They charge you card three times for $54.95 but send you a product only once. Then you cannot get a response from them for a refund.

I will involve Better Business Bureau, and social media has a very wide audience.

The product does not even work, such a scam.

One very disappointed customer.

Scammers

By Sarah Ewing, Utah, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the 30-day supply last fall. I canceled the subscription within the allotted time period because I didn't find the product effective. Recently I received another package. Why? I canceled several months ago. The only reason is that Gunthy-Renker is a dishonest company, and many people would just keep the product and pay, even though they did not order it.

Sticky and unpleasant to use

By Beatrice Miranda, San Bernardino, CA, Verified Reviewer

Made absolutely no difference in my skin, at all. The consistent was awful (thick, sticky and just not pleasant to use).

The smell was also thick, sweet, and overwhelming. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Don't waste your money (I've bought better moisturizers at the drugstore for far less).

So I gave it two stars for false advertising (should have been one star, but they were responsive and prompt with my cancellation).

Doesn't work

By Jeanette Erwin, Illinois, Verified Reviewer

I have been using this Crepe Erase for over 30 days now, and I do not see any difference, and I certainly did not see any instant difference as they stated you would see. So if you don't want to waste your money, don't purchase it.

Crepe Erase credit card scam

By Angela S., Ohio, Verified Reviewer

I ordered Crepe Erase in December of 2017 and got it before Christmas. I did not like the product and didn't see any results so called to cancel, and they said I missed the deadline by 12 hours, so they charged me $68.71. I asked to cancel all future orders, and I received an email confirmation from a representative that all future orders would cease.

On March 9th, 2018 I had a credit card charge of $68.71 and called immediately, and the representative told me that I had changed the frequency of future packages, that I did not cancel. I let them know I had an email confirmation and I did cancel. Instead of cancelling the charge, they told me I'd have to refuse the package for a full refund when I returned it.

The package did not get to me until the 15th of March and I refused it and returned it to the mail on the 16th of March. It is the 29th and there is still no refund therefore I called, and they just processed my package on the 28th. Now I've been informed that they will be returning to me $54.00 minus the $14.00 for shipping. I'm furious. Clearly, they had not mailed it the day they charged me, and it could have been canceled. And I had canceled, so they just stole $14.00 in my book.

I will be canceling my credit card so they can no longer do this to me since clearly an email confirmation is meaningless to the criminals that are running this product. Don't buy it because one, you can never cancel, and two, the product does not work.

Fragrance overwhelming

By Jill Ramsey, Virginia, Verified Reviewer

I really like the concept of taking care of the skin on the body like the face.

The texture of creams and lotions is heavy and dense in the jar but feels light on the skin. Very moisturizing. Body exfoliant doesn't have enough exfoliating ingredient to be effective. The product developers went way off track when they decided to add huge amounts of fragrance though. Besides not being a very nice smell, it is SO strong. The Restorative Facial Treatment has something in it that actually stings when applied.

As is, I will never order another shipment until products are reformulated without any fragrance.

Scam!

By Madeline Friedman, Iselin, NJ, Verified Reviewer

I ordered this product and paid for what I thought was one shipment of the product because I checked the preference that indicated I wanted only a one-time shipment. However, what Crepe Erase did, even though I indicated a one-time shipment, was automatically enroll me in a club. About three weeks later, I received another, unordered shipment of Crepe Erase, when I still had plenty left from the product I DID order.

I sent the product back immediately with tracking. However, Crepe Erase kept charging me, for MONTHS, for the second shipment, which I DID NOT ORDER. I called their customer service and spoke with a representative who said that, although she could SEE that I had sent the second unordered product back, she CLAIMED they hadn't received the product I sent back. I told her that her complaint, then, was with FedEx, not me, since she could see that there was a tracking number and that I had in good faith sent the product back.

However, it is now A YEAR LATER, and I am STILL BEING BILLED for the product I sent back! Not only that, but they have put me into debt collection with a company called North Shore Agency and are going to ruin my good credit. If they do, I will hire an attorney and charge Crepe Erase for my attorney's fees. My opinion is that anyone who does business with this company is opening up a huge can of worms, as the company will ruin your credit even if they can see that you sent the unordered product back to them. Scammers!

And the product is NOT EVEN ANY GOOD. You can buy a good quality moisturizer and get the same results with the aggravation!
