First of all, it's a frying pan. The first thing I read is to not fry in it! So I didn't use it on high heat, just med and low. Worked ok but things still stuck a little. In no time at all everything was sticking and the pan began to accumulate food stuff that wouldn't come off even with a green pad scrubbies. At that point, I didn't care about running the pan surface because that ship already sailed a while ago. I had two sizes, I just threw them away. Don't waste your money.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
