Fair Content, BAD High Pressure Ads disguised as "Master Classes."

By Kath Harper, Verified Reviewer

Mindvalley has a good content base BUT I am constantly barraged by invitations to "master classes" which are actually little bites of content from other monetizing spiritual programs wrapped around a high pressure sales pitch. The tactic from email marketing that uses high-pressure popup windows is both annoying and in my opinion very low-class. The end effect is making the entire Mindvalley operation seem like one big high-pressure bait-and-switch marketing scheme for a cooperative of money-hungry "spiritual teachers" and I'm not sure that this is the reputation that they would like to have. Perhaps that's really the point, but it makes the whole high-minded tone of their initial ads seem somewhat cynical.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Mind Valley is uplifting

By Sharon , Florida

I have purchased several of the courses and find them very helpful and interesting. Vishen is a very good speaker. The meditations are relaxing and make you feel good. I do agree that there are a few too many emails but they have an unsubscribe option available.

SCAM!

By Skye, Verified Reviewer

I was given accesses to a free promotional webinar, which I was unable to watch at the time. "No biggie, they have replays," I thought to myself. So I waited for the replay email to come through.

So, I get the replay link in my inbox, and to my surprise, it sends me to a signup page. I somehow find a page of alternative short-links (and for a moment, think I've struck gold and can watch the webinar at last) but they all tell me to go find the link in my email.

Getting frustrated, I emailed the website through which I was offered this course (Biddy Tarot) and the website itself (Mindvalley Academy) and nobody has replied. All I get is spam-level emails from Mindvalley Academy, begging me to sign up for a paid course. Lovely!

I'm not dropping money on a course that I might not be able to access if I can't catch it live. Any company who has time to spam my inbox, but doesn't have the time to reply to my support ticket is not one I trust.

To me it seems like a giant info gathering scam and I advise you to steer clear!

Don't waste your time, and especially don't waste your money. If something goes wrong you may never hear from their customer support and I highly doubt you'll be getting any money back.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Too much too soon

By Pedro , Calgary

I asked for the free analysis because I was curious. They then sent me a huge list of very long e-mails and demanded a quick reply to accept their offer. Since I did not have the time to read all those e-mails and learn about the program right now, I chose to improve my life by unsubscribing. To bad they are so pushy. I might have learned something and they might have gained a fan.

Average, helpful

By Lloyd, Los Angeles, CA, Verified Reviewer

You are not obligated to buy anything. There are free mp3 downloads. Really, they are free. I take advantage of those. Being in between jobs for several years due to the recession, and being older, listening to the self hypnosis, and mp3 digital recordings have been very helpful. There's nothing like getting free help about staying positive during tense financial times that we live in, and to learn to stay away from negative people and vibes. I never paid for anything. I downloaded free self help hypnosis, and free uplifting mp3 digital recordings from thoughtinspire.com. I have noticed that I am much calmer and happier in my life.

Cheap sales and promotion tricks in Videos!

By Sinan ,

Naming of the products and how they put the links in the pages to buy is a design for a hook or bait & switch. For me, it is a pure scam! I have bought and returned the products with a bad experience.
