Scam

By Ann Shipman, OK, Verified Reviewer

It doesn't work. By the time I sent it back it cost me 120.00. Don't buy this, it's no good and they rip you off.

Clear TV Antenna

By Willie McCraw, Canton, MI, Verified Reviewer

Ordered antennas, both came in same box, but paid for additional shipping for something that weighed a couple of ounces. Put antenna on two different TVs and it did not work on either. I had to pay to return items which only cost $2.60. So why are you charged $7.99 twice? you pay for a product where the company already knows that does not work so they expect consumers to return it because they make money off the shipping fees they charge. All the channels they claim you will get is no more than I am getting now. I think it's a BIG Rip-off in my opinion. I think they should be shut down, no better than people who prey on and rip off unsuspecting people. Would not recommend to a soul.

Do not buy!

By Toni, Verified Reviewer

First of all, the product does NOT work! This company is making money on "shipping & handling" charges. They charge $16 to ship the two antennas in the SAME box. The actual cost to ship is around $3. They are scamming customers by saying they are getting a free antenna & charging a separating shipping rate of $8 for a 2 oz product.

Their 60 day refund is only for the $20 you paid for the two antennas that do not work. They pocket the other $16 (less the $3 it actually costs to ship this product), so they are making at least $13 per person for absolutely nothing. Please report this company to the Better Business Bureau, as we are doing.

Legitimate businesses stand behind their products and will pay for the returns, but this company is ONLY making money on charging people ridiculous shipping and handling fees.

It works for me

By Diana, Miami, Florida, Verified Reviewer

I've had the Clear TV antenna, on my TV in the room for over a year. And bought one for my daughter when she moved into her own apartment, as she did not have the budget for cable, and she watches movies on Netflix anyway. The signal, at times, goes off on any particular channel, but it does come back. Or I make it come back by moving the antenna (not a big deal for me). I will add, that the rest of the house has Direct TV. I, on the other hand, chose to have my regular TV, and have found a variety of channels including British dramas on PBS, my absolute favorite, cooking shows on Create, and home show on ION, not to mention oldies but goodies on ME TV and other channels that are transmitted through HD.

I do recommend it, be patient, play with it until you find the right angle of the dangle. It beats rabbit ears, which by the way, was what I used to have.

Needs To Be Mounted On Wall To Work

By Robert S, California, Verified Reviewer

There's a big design flaw with Clear TV antenna stick that can only lock in behind TV. I live in the Los Angeles area where outside antenna can pick up digital signals easily. With Clear TV, only channels 7 and 11 came in without breaking up. However, using a coaxial cable and coaxial cable splitter to move Clear TV to wall stabilized reception.

Since Clear TV does not offer option of putting antenna on wall or window, it is ineffective substitute for outdoor antenna or pay TV. Antenna has to be moved away from TV up high to gain reception. Even old rabbit ears antenna that can be perched on table works better than Clear TV.

I returned my Clear TV at Rite Aid for refund because I might as well buy more expensive indoor antenna that mounts on wall and works.

Bad Product

By Chris Gardner, Colorado, Verified Reviewer

This antenna does not work properly. TV programs always cut out and I cannot watch one TV show without loosing reception. I thought I got a bad one and got a different one with the same bad results. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Works great for me!

By Linda LeHue, North Richland Hills, Texas, Verified Reviewer

I get channels I didn't even know existed before. All of my local channels, Weather channels, a game channel, this, metv, decades, kids channels, just to name a few. I also get several channels in different languages. I get 37 free channels. Granted I don't get the cable channels, which I did not expect to get for free. I am very pleased. I get much more than I expected from Clear TV. If you don't have the money to throw away on cable like me, but like watching TV, I recommend Clear TV. I read reviews where people said it didn't work but it works great for me. So glad I took a chance! However, I did play it safe and bought it at Walgreens instead of ordering it, just in case I needed to return it.

Doesn't work

By Karen Robinette, Canton, OH, Verified Reviewer

Waste of money. It cost over $15 shipping. When I returned it, USPS charges were $3.02 for both antennas. Still waiting for refund. I can't get through on phone. Walmart has them in store for $14.99 with a good return policy.
