We found love on Farmers Only

By Carrie Verlin, MI, Verified Reviewer

My husband and I started talking on FarmersOnly in September of 2014. Our first date was September 27th 2014. We were married one year ago on August 8th 2015.

We both tried other dating sites. We would not have met each other without FarmersOnly. Other sites truly do not understand country folks and what were looking for. Bob and I both love to hunt and farm. Last December we purchased our small 20 acre hay and horse farm together, along with our first red tractor.

Now we are celebrating our one year wedding anniversary. I cannot tell you enough how great it is to build a future with a like minded person.

Thank you Farmers Only. City Folks Just Don't Get It.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Still being billed after supposedly closing my account

By Harold, Trenton, TN, Verified Reviewer

After a suggestion of a friend, I browsed the farmers only date site. I met and chatted with a few people, after joining which is NOT free. After supposedly closing my account, which I'm not sure was completed because it was always redirected to another department which I could never get through to and several months later I am still being billed. I would like for this to stop. As most of the sites, they advertise they are free until you actually want to talk to someone. That is a scam in my interpretation. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

Love farmersonly.com

By Beth Anne Rose, Texas, Verified Reviewer

I met Justin White on Farmersonly.com on Dec 6, 2015. We had our first date on Dec 12, 2015. We met at Braums and had ice cream at 3pm. After eating we went to a local pond and fished. Didn't have much luck there so we went to a different lake. It was such a fun and romantic date. It was raining hard and we backed he truck down underneath the freeway and fished anyway until the wee hours of the night. After that I knew I was hooked. Justin and I got engaged in March 2016. And are getting married on Sept 3, 2016 in Paris, TX. Thank you so much for the site. I'm so happy I found my fish in the sea!

The best of the best

By Amanda Myers, Myakka City, FL, Verified Reviewer

I joined Farmer's Only and I wasn't expecting the blessing that I received. The night before my subscription went out I received a message from an incredible man. Within the first hour we were exchanging numbers and talking as if we had known each other our entire life. After the first week of being together WE both truly knew it was fate, destiny, true love, soul mates what ever you would like to call it. I moved in with him and have never in my entire life been so happy smiled so much or felt a love so strong and deep. We are planning to marry soon, live our life happily and never look back. Just wanted to give a huge thanks to Farmer's Only. Keep it up, It shows true love love does exist.

Farmers Only is very misleading

By Frank Farmer, North Georgia, Verified Reviewer

The Farmers Only site does not work as their FAQs indicate for Standard Members. The site says a Standard Member can send and receive flirts, but that is NOT true. If someone sends Standard Member a "flirt", the Standard Member cannot see the flirt nor who it came from. The website FAQs clearly say you can use flirts to see if you and another person are interested in each other before paying for an upgrade to communicate further via personalized messages; however, that functionality absolutely does NOT exist.

The Farmers Only support team says that the content of a flirt is "premium content" and you "must upgrade to see the flirts you have received". This information I received from their support staff totally contradicts the website FAQs. I have tried several times to get help from Farmers Only support and have pointed out that their response contradicts the website FAQs, but they keep sending the same response quoted above.

It appears that Farmers Only is merely a scam designed to force people to pay them too much for too little. Another interesting fact: there are very few farmers on farmersonly.com; actual farmers are a very low percentage of their membership, which is also extremely misleading. This makes it very difficult for real farmers to sort through, especially as a standard member.

I have a friend that sent in a recommendation to Farmers Only asking for a new searchable field added that indicates whether or not someone is actually a farmer; they have denied that request. This site is a huge waste of time and is very misleading to actual farmers, and their support team has one job: to tell you to upgrade and pay.

Renewal Rate Hike

By Al Langford, Colorado and Montana, Verified Reviewer

So, I've spent 6 months browsing the FarmersOnly site, and have met some nice ladies, or at least reviewed their profiles, had just a few communications, and one in person visit. No complaint there.

Renewal is 30% hike, Come on now. If your grocery raised you 30% after shopping there 6 months, you'd be a little taken aback too.

Couldn't they offer a reasonable amount for your subscribers to continue, at the same or a discounted rate, considering the possibility that they might use your site for years to come?

False Profiles

By Gregg, Visalia, CA, Verified Reviewer

Do not use this site! Danger: they will use your pictures and destroy your credibility.

I was a member of Farmers Only Dating site, they took my money, then my pictures and created several accounts with my photo and part of my profile to make other people think there are more members. It also destroyed my name and that I was truly looking for a date, not to play games.

Found what I was looking for!

By Anonymous Reviewer, Carlsbad, NM, Verified Reviewer

I looked in town and on other dating sites and could not find any guys with the same interests, morals and goals until I came across Farmers Only. I found the love of my life living less than 20 minutes away and am happier than I ever thought possible. The only drawback to the site is that there aren't many users in town. But it worked out!

We're getting married

By Sunshine, Centreville, VA, Verified Reviewer

I met my now fiancé on Farmers in February 2015, turns out we worked less than a mile from each other. Long story short we are getting married in April of 2017. I never believed in "soul mates" but I owe it all to Farmers because I have found my soul mate and I never would have without the help from FarmersOnly.

Not a free site - scam

By Ted, Verified Reviewer

While this is a "free" site, that only allows you to create your profile and sent "canned" flirts - you can't even send your own flirt message. But that is ALL you can do! And their "premium" rates are higher than other dating sites.

POF is the best free site; all you have to put up with are some ads on your profile page, which are often inappropriate links. OkCupid is another good option and their membership rates are reasonable.

Waste of time!
