Questionable

By Mike, Gonzales, LA, Verified Reviewer

I have made grilled cheese sandwiches (buttered the bread), Reubens (again buttered the bread), a steak with only a light spray of coconut oil, and everything has charred the pan. The center of my pan has black char that I can't scrub off.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Fantastic

By Stuart Pirrotta, New Mexico, Verified Reviewer

I purchased several fry pans, sauce pans, skillets, and a steamer. The pans are fabulous and are truly stick free and easy cleaning up. I can't believe how nothing sticks to them, and how well it is to cook with them.

If I need some more cookware, I will only purchase Gotham cookware. They are fabulous.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great Scam

By Steven Ferenc, CT, Verified Reviewer

Ordered and received about 6 months ago. Worked as advertised for a few days. Then everything began to stick especially fried eggs, even with butter or oil. Complete disappointment. I called customer service and was told according to the terms of the warranty I had to ship the pan back at my expense (approximately $12) along with a $9.95 handling charge. The price of the pan was $19.95 which is less than it would cost to get a replacement under the warranty. From the reviews I've since read the reliability seems to be just as bad as mine. This pan and it's lifetime warranty is one big great SCAM. By the way, I only rated it 1 star because it would not let me rate it a Zero.

Pan Is NO GOOD! Deceptive Advertising.

By Kenneth Manfredi, Texas, Verified Reviewer

Bought one last Christmas and was very disappointed. Returned it and got another, it scorches & is hard to clean, everything sticks even after you season the pan. They should stop those commercials immediately deceptive advertising, a waste of 20 bucks, get an old fashion Teflon pan, it works better.

Terrible frying pan.

By Lisa, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I guess it's true, don't believe everything you see.

This is the worst pan I have ever bought. Everything sticks to it. At first, it was so easy to clean and after a couple of uses, everything sticks and it's hard to clean.

This pan is a WASTE OF MONEY and is the WORST thing I have ever bought. I wish I could return it and get my money back. But I guess you live and learn. Don't buy one.

Gotham Steel Pans

By Sandra Davern , Goomeri, Queensland , Verified Reviewer

I bought these pans and found out they will not work with an induction cooktop. Then yesterday I was using the glass 28cm lid with another pan on the cooktop, cooking a casserole on a medium heat and it IMPLODED!

I would not recommend them to anyone.

Warranty?

By Scott, Englewood, TN, Verified Reviewer

I received this pan as a gift. Followed the directions with pan. I only use wooden utensils, never cooking sprays, and always wash with soapy water and dishrag when needed. After several months of everyday use at home, I noticed some specks the size of pepper flakes, I thought something was stuck. It wasn't, it was flakes of coating coming off the pan. I called the company, a polite young man answers. First question: did you buy it from a store or our website? 2nd: last four digits of the card used to pay for the pan(s) purchased. Because I received the pan as a gift I didn't know that. I even offered to send the pan to Gotham at my expense for a determination. They said again if I didn't have that info they couldn't help me.

I have since tossed it and gone back to my 100+ year old iron skillets and decided not to pursue this any further. I would think very hard about spending money on anything as seen on TV. The person that gave me this pan also bought 4 more for gifts and the others are having problems as well.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Bad product

By Robert, Palm Springs, CA, Verified Reviewer

Unlike some of you, I never experience something that did not stick and I tried different levels of heat on my gas stove. I bought the 12.5 inch at Bed Bath & Beyond for the price of $29.99. Don't buy this product.

Don't waste your money

By Kathy Apple, Texas, Verified Reviewer

Suppose to be nonstick. Wrong! Everything sticks to this pan. I have tried many times frying eggs and hash browns, etc., with and without oil and they stick no matter what. The one plus is that it is easy to clean after everything has stuck to the pan.

Love it!

By K. Berg, Los Angeles, CA, Verified Reviewer

I love this pan so much I ordered a second size. The clean up never requires the scrubber side, just the sponge side for clean up. Nothing sticks very much at all. I've never had the guts though to use metal on it and probably never will. I'm considering buying more.

Exaggerated Infomercial

By Tim, Winslow, ME, Verified Reviewer

We had scratches on our 9" Gotham square pan immediately and every food product we cooked had to be physically scraped from the pan.
