Hydro Mousse Liquid Lawn

I "Hydro Moussed" large areas of my front yard, and it came out fully green and like sod. I took out some flower beds from the previous owner, and the soil was old, but it still worked well. I "Hydro Moussed" at my old house in the backyard and it grew in very well. The best sections of new grass were "Hydro Moussed." The green dye is messy to work with, but it makes a difference. It worked excellent in shaded areas where I had trouble growing grass.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I've been waiting for my order forever, and received apology postcards twice for the delays but not compensated for dependability. If you have time to watch, grass grows! Still waiting.

First off, you get about 2 ounces of seed and a little package of crap that turns the water green. The package says the product will cover 50 square feet, which is way less than I had to cover.

I followed the instructions carefully and completely covered the area. Well, it has been two weeks now, and I have grass growing very spotty only in the middle. I have a bunch of seed everywhere else just laying there not growing. I watered three times a day as per the instructions.

This product is total crap. I do not know why I let my wife talk me into "trying" it. I had the bag of Scotts seed in my hands. Take it from me, use Scotts only, that is all I have ever used until "oh let's try this." And guys, go to the store ALONE. I purchased this product at Home Depot in Orland Park, Illinois.

I wish I had found this site before I bought this product. It is a complete waste of money! The FTC should go after these people. The product on the application is nothing like what is represented in the TV infomercial. There is no "mousse;" just some green water.

This product absolutely offers no advantage to just planting your own seeds the normal way at a much lower cost and with a higher degree of success. Whoever is giving this product five stars has to be working for the company's interests.

On my first try, I just got green water and all the seeds were left in the bottle. On my second try, at a 45 degree angle, it came out sporadically and not evenly, mainly at the very beginning. Bottom line, it's been a month, and there is still no grass. A total waste of money.

I have been waiting for just the right time to use this material on my lawn. I bought this material at the end of last season. I read the instructions completely before using. I bought two boxes. Keep the dial on "off" until the container filled up. The problem on both sets was that the water was all over the place! The water was coming out of every seam on the handles! This was a mess. I had to discard the handles and put the seed on by hand.

I will never buy this again and will let Amazon know now what I think. What a waste of money.

We purchased this product (spray bottle and an additional bag of product for the large area) at our local Home Depot. We watched the video online as well as following the directions included with the product.

We prepared the ground and solution as directed. As we began, the mousse seemed very thin, and even though it was dark green as it came out of the sprayer, it soaked into the dirt without sticking on top at all. The grass seed was totally exposed. We went through three of the mousse packets along with seed, letting the product set in the sprayer longer each time as to dissolve mousse packet better.

When we finished, it just looked like a lot of dirt with grass seed setting on it. Now I have to buy peat or straw to set on the top of the seed! What a waste of time, money ($40 for basically a bag of grass seed) and energy! Seriously, don't waste your money.

I bought this product at Home Depot. Luckily, I only bought the applicator which comes with one bag of seed and the so-called chemical. Instructions suck; doesn't say which is dumped into the container first, the seed or the small packet of the solution. I got one small spot with the so-called magic solution that was green like it looked in the video, after that who knows, probably all that was sprayed out was water.

It is just another rip-off. I'm glad it only cost 20 bucks to learn not to waste my money.

I bought this back in June and followed exactly as it said and it did not work, when it rained the birds ate the seeds and no grass, still huge bald spots. Then you call and they tell you to wait more time and keep watering. By then the3 0-day warranty is gone and you CAN'T get your money back.

Did not know if I should cut open the mousse package or drop in. I cut and poured. Ordered the double package and barely sprayed enough lawn area for 5x6. No mousse, more like green food color. My friends, all of them just laughed and asked me for another joke. Waste of money. Had to go buy good grass seed and do it right.

Customer service is a joke too. Rude and accomplished absolutely nothing. Never recommend this. Rating this 0, but forced to rate 1 star.

Do not buy it, does not work. Comes out like a regular hose. Nothing like the video. This product is a rip-off and a waste of money. Spraying runs out in 2 minutes. Again, the product is junk and does not work.
