    Overall Experience:

    I bought 2 six-month gift subscriptions for my grandchildren. They received 3 crates each, then nothing for a year. We felt the crates were fun, but cheaply made and not very time-consuming. After a year they never contacted me, but sent my daughter an email saying they had sent 2 more crates! She thought I had reordered, but I hadn’t. I accessed my account and saw that they had sent the crates and planned on sending more the next month. Again, I had no contact from them! I assumed they had renewed my gift subscriptions without my authorization. They advertise you can easily cancel a subscription online, so I followed the instructions on their site. Where they say there should be a cancel button, there is only a hold subscription button where you can suspend your subscription temporarily! I had to contact them by email to get my subscription canceled. Also they have no means to talk to a representative. They did answer my email within a short time. I corresponded with them several times and learned they had only sent 3 months of my subscriptions when I ordered them. Then they realized they had a problem with their system a year later! So they started sending crates again, without notifying me of anything! They did agree to refund my money for the last 2 crates that I won’t receive. The crates they had already sent after a year, they told me they don’t accept returns! So I guess we have to keep them. I don’t feel the crates (doodle and tinker) are worth the cost. The quality is poor, and as I said, they are not very time-consuming for my grandchildren. I would not suggest this product or company.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
