I bought two. I connected one to my living room TV, did not get any channels. I connected it to my bedroom TV, did not get any channels. I connected it to the TV in my camper, did not get any channels. I took the TV from the camper, did not get any channels. Unless you live in a big city with TV stations within 30 miles, I WOULD NOT buy this. Don't waste your money. I still have the 2nd one in the package still.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
