I fell for this trial order for $4.95 shipping. I did not see any fine print regarding a 14 day trial. My credit card has been charged (7) times and I received 1 box in March. I have $587.00 in charges on my credit card. I called several times and was put on hold forever. When I finally got through I told them I only received 1 box of their product and it broke out my face so I wasn't using it at all. They gave me tracking numbers for 2 boxes and said I needed to contact the Post Office to find the packages and then I could return them with a $19.95 re-stocking fee for each box and another $1.95 fee per box.
I have not received tracking for the other boxes they charged me for. Then when I told them I was contacting my credit card company they told me that the card company had no recourse but they could refund me $50.00 less the re-stocking charge and the $1.95 fee per box. I told them I would try to work it out with my credit card company. My card company put in a dispute and will not let them charge my card anymore. They are doing their own investigation into the charges.
I told them that I would write a review and spread the word about their SCAM.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I just wanted to thank you for the detailed information you included. I filled out the 30-days supply free trial form and used a prepaid card because I didn't trust this website. The payment was rejected as a result. Not even five minutes later, I receive a call from an agent who barely spoke English, saying they can help me over the phone.
I asked him if there was a charge after the trial, and his only response was that I could cancel within 14 days. I didn't see anything about that online, only a 30-day supply free trial. While on the phone I started searching online for Genesis Renew Cream scam (that's what its called now). I couldn't find anything online or on YouTube. The guy was pushy saying just try it and to provide my credit card number. I found that strange. I asked for the amount again after the trial was over and he told me $98.34. I said "no thanks, I'm not interested," then he said, "what's the name on the card, you can cancel before the trial ends."
However, I kept wondering why the trial wasn't mentioned online in the details. So, I searched again and found your post while on the phone. I asked, "Is there a stocking fee if I return to cancel in 14 days?". He then put me on hold. I hung up because I saw all of these complaints.
I am grateful for you sharing your story. I was going to give this to my mom, but it seems like it doesn't work for anyone, and on top of that people wrote that they had allergic reactions. They called my phone seven times today since the first phone call. I have voicemails from this agent just breathing into the phone. I then called my credit card company to make sure that I'm not being charged. So far so good.
Thanks again and I'm sorry that it happened to you. If it wasn't for that restocking information, I might have risked it.
