    Very bad ethics

    I broke my partial in early April, and the dentist had a new one made. I like him and his staff is great. My complaint is not about them. My dental insurance didn't cover partial breakage, and the bill was $873.00. They introduced me to this company, and I signed up same. In mid-May I received a very nasty phone call from a woman that I equate with a Nazi, telling me that I had not paid for April and May, and demanded payment for two months. I had never received a bill from them for this.

    She said that the bill was returned to them, address unknown. However, she repeated my address to me, which was correct. Obviously they made a mistake on their end. She would not listen to me that I couldn't send her my payment, as I had no bill. She said she would send me a bill yet she never did. I then received a phone call from a gentleman who said they were waiving the late fees but I still owed for two months. He asked when it was a good time for them to bill me, every month. I told him my Social Security check came the second Wednesday of each month. He told me the bill should arrive several days prior to this. Guess what? I still don't have a bill.

    I have applied for a small loan, and should have it in about five days. I called the dentist's office today and made arrangements to pay them directly the full amount. They were very nice and graciously agreed to this. I fully intend to speak to a lawyer regarding this and I will attempt to bring suit against them. I will also report them to the proper people that oversee them. I'm 79 years old and don't appreciate this kind of hassle.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
