    Total lack of customer service

    Overall Experience:

    My husband and I purchased roadside assistance for 28 months under a "special" that AutoVantage was offering. We never used the service BUT the company terminated our service after those 28 months without advising us or giving us the option to renew.

    When I called customer service, I was told that, because we were paying a "special" rate for our plan, that plan was no longer being offered and that is why we were not notified. All insurance companies that we have dealt with advise their clients when an insurance coverage is expiring. Evidently, AutoVantage cannot be bothered.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
