I heard an ad on conservative talk radio about the Ultimate Wealth Report back in 2013 and decided to subscribe to Sean's newsletter and take some of his advice, investing about 20% of my portfolio. I was willing to invest more because of his biblical approach to investing.
But I started losing money on paper right away and put a stop to investing with his picks. I got some of my money back after waiting three years for his picks to come back to my purchase price, but am still down on Vale, Silver ETF, SLX, and of course the big snafu BTU, which went bankrupt.
What a nice guy, he holds your hand with his weekly videos, etc. but he conveniently sets aside some of his biggest losses as his "legacy portfolio" to come back and talk about at a later time. It is not the best newsletter I've subscribed to, and I am still waiting on recouping some (but probably never all) of my investments with Sean. The dollar is riding high, and his commodity picks were disastrous. What bad timing.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
