This company forgets to tell you that the first half of your payments (for however long you signed for) goes straight to interest and the principle goes up. It doesn't matter if you pay extra. The best way of getting out of this mess is to just roll it into your mortgage or a home equity loan.
When I tried to pay it off, they gave us the runaround and would only give us the ten-day payoff, which by the way was $6.77 added to the loan balance every day.
The smart thing to have done if you are going to purchase solar is to just get a loan from a credit union.
I absolutely DO NOT recommend this to a friend!
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
