I saw the ad on Facebook to buy a free, no obligation trial size of Brio serums. They came, and there was a normal charge of $3.99 for shipping and handling. Fine. Then I get Allegro cream in April (yesterday). I checked the bank and bam; they got me three times for $109.00. I called and they told me I signed up for it. No, I did not.
They said I had to keep it and there was nothing they could do. I went to my bank and Mastercard is investigating. I am sure the Attorney General's office in whatever city it's in needs to catch these people!
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
My situation is somewhat like Sue's. I saw an ad for Allegro Anti Aging cream that was endorsed by Ellen DeGeneres, all you had to pay was for the shipping in the amount of $3.99. I paid the $3.99 and yesterday, which was about eight months after I had placed the order for the free jar, I received a letter from a collection agency for $44.04. Since I received the jar of cream, I had not heard one peep from that company about owing them any money. What kind of company does that?
