As an Elite Diamond member with Choice Privileges, I spend about 100 nights out each year on business. Choice Hotel has always given me great service, value, and points are always correctly posted to my account for my stay. Now the problem began when I decided to get the Barclay Choice Privileges Visa about 18 months ago. It started out great and points were added to my Choice Privileges account on the 6th of each month from my purchases on the Visa.
The last six months have been a customer service nightmare for me in regards to getting my points posted to my account from using the Barclay Choice Privileges Visa. After numerous calls to Barclay and Choice Privileges, they finally got me caught up and current by the end of 2016. I had to go through this same process earlier in 2016 as well. It is now April 2017, and Choice Privileges has yet to post any points to my account for using my Visa in 2017.
I pay my bill in full weekly online so no excuse there for not getting points. I still do not know what the problem is since I can never get customer service to call me back. I do not want to use the scam word to sum up the Barclay Visa, but my situation should cause some concerns.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
