    Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away

    Great vacuum and easy ordering process

    Two-year owner.

    I used to sell Kirby vacuums. I know how good they are, but I would never pay that much. A really good brand came out that has a ball design allowing the vacuum to pivot and turn easier. Again, I refused to pay that much. Then came Shark's Powered Lift Away. It cleans as well as a Kirby, has the pivoting feature and the powerful hose suction as the other brand, but it's more affordable.

    I live in windy Texas, where we get more dust flying around than rain. Combine that with five kids, a cat and a Husky. I thoroughly vacuumed my house like when I would do a demo as a salesperson, then vacuumed with the Shark. I was disgusted! I did a 5 x 7 area in one pass, and the tank was full of dirt, crumbs and dog hair from a low pile carpet, which I thought was clean.

    I ordered all available accessories and they are all worth it, especially the under appliance wand. The only downfall is the length of the hose. I don't know if a longer length would reduce suction, I imagine it would, but I need something to handle cob webs on the extremely high entryway we have without getting on a ladder.

    I highly recommend ordering a second filter kit. In order for the vacuum to work properly, the filter needs to be cleaned periodically. Every vacuum needs maintenance and this is no different. Now that it's popular, you can find it at most big box stores, but without the lifetime warranty I have on mine.

    The ordering process was simple. The purchase price was divided into seven payments on my credit card. The first payment was higher because of state tax and shipping were taken on the first payment. The ordering page makes this very clear. The order total, including taxes and shipping, how much each payment would be and on what date I would be billed were all displayed before I hit submit.

    I've never had a problem being billed before that date, or for a different amount. Had that been the case, my printed and emailed order confirmation, billing agreement, and invoice would have been used to correct any erroneous billing practice.

    Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
