As an American Home Shield customer, you should expect to:
- Be on hold for 45 minutes to an hour regardless of when you call.
- Never receive a call back when they tell you they will.
- Receive below quality work from the companies they contract with to repair your appliances.
- Pay upfront for services you have not received and that sometimes doesn't happen at all.
- Be given the run around for a week to a month about major issues.
- Be told about fine print that does not exist in your contract.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
