I was a Beauty Box 5 subscriber since 2015, and I never had any issues whatsoever! They were one of my favorites in the $10-12 price range. Then July 2017, they had a shipping issue with one of their products and informed their customers that shipping for July was delayed. The boxes ended up coming mid-August and had a bonus item to make up for being late, so I was willing to overlook the issue. Of course, even though July boxes hadn't shipped yet, they still charged for August on the first like clockwork! They say absolutely nothing about August boxes being delayed and all of a sudden the end of August they make a post on Facebook (not directly to their customers) that their shipping warehouse is located in Texas and was hit by Harvey the hurricane and would keep us posted!
I got a bad feeling and canceled right away without any issues thank goodness! I still haven't received my August box and according to Facebook and Instagram, a lot of people have purchased yearly subscription upfront and really want to know what's going on! They have a sister company that's having the same issues! The BBB has scored them as an F! I would highly suggest nobody signs up for this subscription box.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
