I bought two (one for me and one for my husband) two years ago, prior to my having gastric bypass surgery. It works much better than the one the hospital gave me to track my steps. I've used it for two years and now am ready to buy another two since these are worn out. No, it will not track steps when using a walker or while grocery shopping with a shopping cart if used on my wrist, but then, do the other "steppers" actually measure steps or arm movements? I have wrapped it around my ankles for times like that. I have not had problems with it resetting, but really like that I can adjust it for my weight since I lost 180 lbs over two years.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
