Liftware has made it possible for me to eat without splattering food on myself, the table, the wall, or my dining companion. I'm no longer embarrassed eating at restaurants, and I can even order soup because, for the first time, I can get soup to my mouth without having to bend over or spill it everywhere. Liftware is particularly good for eating any liquidy foods (such as soup and cereal), but it's also great for most everything else as well.
The only thing I don't like is that because of the way it's made, it's not possible to really dig into thicker, firmer foods. If something needs to be cut with a knife, you need to either hold the utensil part of the Liftware so you can push the fork into the food and then use a knife with your other hand, or you need to use a regular fork and knife and resume using the Liftware after the food has been cut.
All in all, though, it's been a game-changer for me (I have essential tremor) and would highly recommend it.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
