My husband recently gave me a Copper Fit Step FX and I was thrilled to be able to change it from my Fitbit from time to time. Two weeks after receiving it, my Fitbit band broke. I gave the Step FX an overnight charge and the next morning I set it up. Well, before I even started my walk, it shut down. I pressed the mode button, thinking that would fix the problem, but to no avail. I returned it to the charge, it came back on but needed to be set up again, which I did.
Once again it shut down within a few minutes and wouldn't start up again. I tried this several times but it doesn't work. As stated above, their contact information is faulty. They say to contact their customer service by emailing them at email@example.com or go to www.cooperfitsepfx.com. The latter is a windows server site. Of course, my husband didn't keep the receipt. I guess it never occurred to him that the item wouldn't work.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
