I took a recommended amount, 2 pills 15–20 minutes before I ate. Within 10 minutes my face felt flush, then my stomach started hurting, and then my skin turned a blotchy red and I felt like I was on fire! It scared me, had to take a Benadryl.

I took this product and my face skin burned extremely bad. I thought I was just overheated and it had nothing to do with the product, but the next time I took it, it happened again. I’m definitely not taking it anymore because of red face, burning sensation, and hives.

I took 1 Zantrex Black softgel dietary supplement the first day, no problem, then ate breakfast. Then I took 1 more at 6 pm, then ate dinner, then I started to itch badly in my feet and hands, etc. It lasted for 20 minutes. Then the second day, I took 1, then ate breakfast, and started itching again, the same as the first day. So since it makes me itch, I decided to take it back to the store where I got it, that’s what it says on the box.

Why do they keep selling this product if it makes people itch? They should ban this product or take the ingredient out that causes itching (Xanthine and Niacin).

Ok, I took one dose before lunch. Two pills as directed. Ate lunch. Two hours later, my stomach cramped up something awful. I've been in the bathroom ever since. It definitely helped me lose weight as it emptied my entire bowels. Small and large intestines! I go to the bathroom great. Several times a day. Perfect consistency. Not today. Goo came out of my gut that obviously had not been processed yet. So for that, I have to give the product a low mark. Anything that does THIS to your body is not good for you.

I'm sure it doesn't happen to everyone, but what if I were stuck in traffic or on the metro train? There would have been MAJOR problems. I'm actually afraid to go out, and it has been about four hours since I took the two pills. I want to stay close to a restroom. I've done colon cleanses that weren't THIS effective, this quickly!

So beware. It may sound appealing, but I actually worry about what it may have done to my body to cause such a reaction. I not only wouldn't recommend this to a friend, I wouldn't recommend it to an enemy!

When I took the first dose, I felt fine. I am not sensitive to caffeine because I drink a lot of coffee through out the day. When I took the second dose, it felt as though my face was swelling and stinging. I looked in the mirror and my nose was swollen and face was very red. I have to take 3-5 Benadryl tablets to counter act the reaction.

They really need to let their customers know that this is a side effect. I didn't have a racing heart, or stomach cramping or pain, but the swelling and burning and allergic reaction is something the customers need to know about.

I started Zantrex Black yesterday. I felt perfectly fine all evening besides not really being able to sleep and was extremely dehydrated even after drinking five bottles of water, which from what I have been reading seems to be normal.

I woke up this morning and took two pills on an empty stomach. Twenty minutes later I felt really hot and flushed like I was going to pass out, then I was extremely nauseous with bad cramping pains and my cheeks and nose are beet red. After it subsided, I felt fine for about three more hours, but then to my surprise, it happened all over again.

I'm pretty sure it is the Niacin in it that is making people feel this way. It is meant to flush out your system quickly and make you sweat out toxins. As far as weight loss goes, I do feel lighter, but I think it may be from the extra water intake and cutting out high calorie caffeinated drinks. I only recommend this product to individuals who actually eat three times a day, otherwise, you will be dealing with some nasty side effects.

Yes, I have experienced weight loss, which is what I wanted but...where the heck was the extreme energy boost? I'm left wandering aimlessly, wondering when this is gonna kick in. Every single time I have a tablet all I want to do is sleep. It's as though taking the tablet induces extreme fatigue. Which for me is good because I suffer from insomnia so I now take it at bedtime. But for anyone else hoping for a daytime boost, I'd say tough luck because it ain't gonna happen.

I did not understand what their statement staying that one "may experience skin flushing'" meant! I took two pills 15 minutes before breakfast. I ate breakfast, and five minutes later I felt a little dizzy, enough to make a mental note to never take the pills before driving. However, that quickly went away.

Then the itching started. And then more itching my face got red and tight feeling. Then I looked like I had a major sunburn. I hope I'm not allergic to this. That lasted at least 20 minutes before subsiding. I think if I had expected it and didn't scratch as much as I did, it would not have lasted as long.

I have not decided against the product, but before lunch I will take 1 pill instead of two and see what that does. Regardless, please be aware of this one major side effect. I have not used it enough yet to know whether I recommend this to others or not.

I started the Zantrex Black last week. The first few days I took it I did experience the red rash/flush. It wore off after 1 hour or so. I felt the energy boost a little, not much. But I have lost 6lbs (increased my water intake a lot). The red flush/rash goes away after your body gets used to the Niacin. I haven't had any other break outs from it. I will give it 30 days to see if I can break the 20lbs mark.
