Best pans I ever bought

By Clarence Deming, Cleveland, OH, Verified Reviewer

I bought my three-piece pan set a little over a month ago, and I will have to say they are so far, by far, the best pans I ever bought. I cook everything without oil or butter as they say and nothing has stuck yet, and they are better at retaining the heat at least compared to all the pans I've bought before. I've told all my friends and family about them, and if they keep performing like they are now I would buy again.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Copper Chef

By Rebecca Sarver, Florida, Verified Reviewer

I have quite a few pieces of Cooper Chef for over a year. I absolutely love them all. I have bought them for my daughters as well, and they love them. I have the 11" and 9.5" deep pans, 9" square and 9" round fry pans, oven crisper pan with basket, cake pans, loaf pans, cookie sheet and 12" grill and griddle. I have never had anything stick, and I use them all the time. I have thrown away all my other pans!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Don't buy

By KJ Shier, Michigan, Verified Reviewer

I bought the 9.5" fry pan and grill mats. I received the pan and a copper coated knife. I called customer service at Cooper Chef and was told: "what do you want, we gave you a knife instead." Well, I want what I ordered! I have had the pan for two months. The copper is coming off the bottom. It has been hand washed and dried, per directions.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Handle heated up and burned me

By Nathan, Wallingford, CT, Verified Reviewer

This pot was a gift from my wife because I do a lot of cooking. After about a year of use my wife was making a grilled cheese sandwich on medium temperature, and when she went to take hold of the handle, she burned her hand. She realized that there was a popping sound coming from inside the handle. Somehow fluid had gotten into the handle.

When we called the company, they gave us the runaround for 45 minutes and in the end wanted us to pay for shipping to send it back to them. We live in the town where they are distributed from and offered to drop it off, and they insisted that we pay to ship it to the facility!

Also, the pot does not clean like they claim. It stains, and they are impossible to get off. Don't waste your money.

After two weeks everything sticks to it, can't get it clean

By Jim Smith, Seattle, WA, Verified Reviewer

I've been using the 9.5" square pan for two weeks. No metal has ever come in contact with it. Great performance for about a week, but now every single thing I put in it sticks. It's actually worst than my cast iron pan. Eggs become part of the pan and have to be scraped out. No one should but this, a regular cheap non-stick pan lasts longer.

Nothing lasts forever, that includes these pans!

By Steven Wilson, California, Verified Reviewer

I bought a set in December of 2016. For the first six months they performed flawlessly, then they began losing their non-stick ability. Now, they are just like any other pan. In fact, I have non-stick pans that are years older that are still non-stick. Too bad these lost their non-stick mojo because while new, they were the best set of pans we have ever owned, but six months later, sorry, they're trash!

One time use and it broke my heart.

By Phil Kako, Florence, OR, Verified Reviewer

I truly wanted to be pleased but, to no avail. I feel that this XL should have worked the very first time. It did NOT! I tried to oven cook a 4 lbs chicken at a temp of 400 instead of the 325 for an hour and a half, BUT, my chicken came out raw. RAW.

What a shame for Eric?

Wishing for smaller pots

By Eleano Foster, Jacksonville, FL, Verified Reviewer

I wish they would make smaller pots. My husband and are now only by ourselves, and the pans are too big for all the meals I make. If they make a 2-quart round pot for making soup and boil potatoes, that would be great. The fry pans cook wonderfully.

Lousy product and terrible customer service

By Mary Roe, Largo, Florida, Verified Reviewer

I bought the Copper Chef and the bonus from the TV ad. I can't even use them because they stick to everything I try to cook. I contacted Copper Chef to no avail. They always have some excuse to make it your fault. This company is the worst, and it does no good to call them.

Copper Chef

By Nilda Cortes, Ruskin, FL, Verified Reviewer

I love the Copper Chef. Nothing sticks to it. I have the 9", the smaller frying pan, a grill and the baking set. I have no complaints at all. BTW, I have been using my Copper Chef for a year, and it's perfect. I cook, fry, steam, and roast. I have not had a better buy.

Absolutely love my Copper Chef pans!

By Tatiana Kuzminski, Passaic County, NJ, Verified Reviewer

I first purchased the small square pan set with cover, steamer and fry basket from Bed Bath & Beyond. This was about five months ago. I love the versatility of this one pan. I can steam, fry, bake, book or sautée in one pan. It does replace many others! I did season it and do hand wash after use and towel dry. No sticking and no scratches. I made the best lasagna in it!

Having said that, I then watched the infomercial for the 11" pan and the specials that came with it. I used the PayFlex directly from Copper Chef and added the 11" sautée square pan and received the induction cook top as well. I use this square pan for almost everything and use it every day.

I purchased in May 2017. Tried the induction cooktop and was surprised at how well it cooked. One day, I noticed that the 11-inch lid was letting a bit too much steam out at the end June. Looking at it, the steel around it was cut crooked, seeming it defective. I finally contacted customer service and was told to mail back (at their expense), and they would replace the lid. So I packed it up and used the prepaid label they emailed me and waited.

About a week ago, I received an email alert that my package has shipped, and I would receive on 7/31/17. Well, it arrived yesterday, and to my surprise, Copper Chef sent me an entirely new set including the induction cook top! Can't beat that for customer service! Very happy to have received another of the 11" square sautée pan as I was ready to order another.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
