About Neuropathy Support Formula
Neuropathy Support Formula is a nutritional supplement that claims to have been formulated by a team of researchers, scientists, and doctors using a proprietary blend of natural remedies that “rapidly and effectively decrease or eliminate the symptoms of Peripheral Neuropathy.”
Neuropathy Support Formula’s ingredients are claimed be backed by over 20 clinical studies for reducing neuropathy pain and discomfort, which can provide you with all the support you need at a fraction of the cost of purchasing the ingredients individually.
How Does Neuropathy Support Formula Claim to Work?
Although there are more than 100 different causes of neuropathy, it can be a debilitating condition that can have a huge impact on your quality of life, including hand, feet, and leg numbness/tingling, painful burning sensations, decreased balance and coordination, and more.
In order to outline this, the Neuropathy Support Formula website tells the story of Michael Brady, who overcame nerve pain after 10 years of suffering using a combination of Vitamin B and Alpha Lipoic Acid shots. Unfortunately, Michael couldn’t afford continued treatment or the supplements his doctor recommended in lieu of the injections, so his pain soon returned.
However, the site goes on to tell us that Michael eventually found
Neuropathy Support Formula, which provided the relief he was looking for at a fraction of the cost, due to the supplement’s “powerful and clinically proven forms of B vitamins, Stabilized R Alpha Lipoic Acid, anti-oxidants and herbal extracts.” The full list of ingredients include:
- Vitamin B1 (Benfotiamine) 300mg – Instead of the thiamine used in most neuropathy supplements, Neuropathy Support Formula claims to contain a form of Vitamin B1 called benfotiamine, which can be passed directly through membranes and into your cells, and while causing less unwanted side effects.
- Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) 4mg
- Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCl) 4mg
- Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) 2,000mcg – This form of Vitamin B12 is claimed to be absorbed and used by your body more efficiently than the more common cyanocobalamine (Cobalamine), especially for older individuals.
- Proprietary Blend 43mg: Feverfew Extract, Oat Straw Extract, Passionflower Extract, Skullcap Extract – Combined, these ingredients are claimed to relieve pain and inflammation, sooth itchy skin, reduce stress and anxiety, and increase blood supply to the brain.
It’s important to note that the Neuropathy Support Formula website also references R-Alpha Lipoic Acid for the antioxidant’s ability to help cells transport glucose more efficiently, and to help reduce nerve damage caused by free radicals—especially over the cheaper and more common S-Alpha Lipoic Acid. However, this ingredient is not listed on the label, but is referenced again in the FAQ, so it’s safe to assume that it’s included.
How Should Neuropathy Support Formula Be Taken?
In order to begin using Neuropathy Support Formula, the manufacturer recommends taking 2 capsules once daily, and that you should continue taking the supplement continuously for 4 months in order to experience the best results.
Neuropathy Support Formula is claimed to be near-Infrared (NI) tested to ensure potency, purity, and quality, and to be screened for contaminants including pesticides and metals. Neuropathy Support Formula claims to be processed in a GMP certified facility, each and every component of which is manufactured in Boise, ID.
According to the company, there are no reports of any negative side effects related to the supplement.
Neuropathy Support Formula Pricing & Refund Policy
You’ll have 3 options when purchasing Neuropathy Support Formula:
- 1-Month Supply: $63
- 3-Month Supply: $129
- 14-Day Trial: $6.97
If you choose the trial, you’ll be sent a 2-week supply of Neuropathy Support Formula for $6.97 S&H (which, if we’re being honest, is probably inflated by 50% or more), and begins on the date your order is placed. The manufacturer claims that it will take about 4 days for you to receive your order, which will effectively leave 10 days for you to decide whether or not you like the supplement.
However, after your 14-day trial has expired, you’ll be enrolled in the Preferred Member program (in other words, an autoship program), which means that you’ll receive a one-month supply of Neuropathy Support Formula once every 30 days, and your credit card will be charged $43 plus $6.97 S&H each time.
Neuropathy Support Formula comes with a 1-year money back guarantee, less S&H charges. However, if you’re enrolled in the autoship program and continuously receive new bottles, remember that the refund policy only applies to your most recent order.
In order to cancel your trial or request a refund, you’ll need to contact customer service at (888) 840-7142.
Can Neuropathy Support Formula Help Relieve Your Neuropathy-Related Pain?
There’s a whole lot of information provided on the Neuropathy Support Formula website, but after you cut through all the marketing, can you realistically expect the supplement to relieve your neuropathy symptoms? Consider the following:
Are Neuropathy Support Formula’s Ingredients Clinically Proven?
Based on the number of nutritional supplements we’ve reviewed here at HighYa, it’s immensely refreshing to see the number of clinical studies clearly referenced on the Neuropathy Support Formula website, many of which support the manufacturer’s claims.
However, keep in mind that many of these studies were conducted using injections (versus the oral formulation in Neuropathy Support Formula), and many were conducted on mice, not on humans. Also, keep in mind that while the ingredients contained in the supplement may have a fair amount of clinical support behind them, the specific formulation found in Neuropathy Support Formula does not.
Finally, it’s worth noting that all of the herbs found in Neuropathy Support Formula are part of a proprietary blend, so there’s no way to know exactly how much of these herbs the supplement contains.
Are These Ingredients Safe at High Levels?
Given the fact that some of the vitamins found in Neuropathy Support Formula can exceed 66,000% of the recommended daily value, you could be forgiven for wondering if they’re safe at such high concentrations and for extended use.
Neuropathy Support Formula’s FAQ references this by claiming that “The FDA has set no limits on the maximum intake of vitamins B1 and B12. In fact, in several clinical studies, far higher doses of these vitamins were used with no reported interactions or negative side effects.”
However, keep in mind:
- Thiamine’s (B1) recommended daily allowance (RDA) is 1-2mg, although “50-100 milligrams taken by mouth daily for 3-6 months” is considered possibly safe.
- Vitamin B2’s RDA is 1.2-1.4mg for adults, and high doses can result in “diarrhea, an increase in urine, and other side effects.”
- Vitamin B6’s RDA is about 2mg, although high intakes “have not been reported to cause adverse effects.”
- The NIH recommends adults take about 2.4mcg of Vitamin B12 per day, and Neuropathy Support Formula provides near 1,000 times this amount. However, “no adverse effects have been associated with excess vitamin B12 intake from food and supplements in healthy individuals."
What Are Other Consumers Saying About Neuropathy Support Formula?
Overall, based on reviews found at Drugs.com, MDJunction.com, HealthBoards.com, and others, it appears that Neuropathy Support Formula has a mixed online customer reputation, with many claiming to have used it for some level of relief. However, others have complained of failure to work (no reduction in pain or other neuropathy-related symptoms) and high price.
It’s important to mention here that as a company, Neuropathy Treatment Group holds an A rating with the BBB, based on 13 closed complaints (as of 11/11/14). Nearly all of these complaints reference difficulty cancelling trials or processing refunds (e.g. no responses to calls or emails, repeated charges despite multiple requests to cancel, etc.).
With so many different causes, what works well for one neuropathy sufferer may not work at all for another. And while Neuropathy Support Formula’s ingredients have been extensively clinically studied, it’s important that you talk with your physician before trying this, or any other, neuropathy supplement.

Less than thrilled
A couple of years ago I decided to give this support formula a try and used it for several months. I didn't notice any relief to speak of but decided to order one more 3 month supply. At that point I was unable to place my order and after several unanswered e-mails I decided they must be out of business or something so I stopped trying. A week ago I got a card in the mail from the same outfit selling what appears to be the same stuff, but with a different name on the bottle? It has scam written all over it. Bottom line, it didn't do anything for me and I can use the money elsewhere.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Formula did not help ease the pain
I used this nerve supplement for 3 months with absolutely no relief of pain whatsoever. I then went back on Lyrica, which is not a narcotic by the way, and got the pain relief I needed for my neuropathy. I, too, found that I could not get a refund for the Neuropathy Support Formula even though they say you can. So, be careful before ordering this product is my advice.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

They won't answer phone, no hope for refund or cancelation.
My husband got a rash when he took this supplement which went away when he stopped taking it. I have tried to call them five times on two different days to cancel this order. I cannot reach a real live person. After holding for about eight minutes the call goes dead. At the beginning of each call they ask if I will participate In a survey about their service. I agreed three times to do the survey yet they have never called back. I think this is a scam! In their ads they say that they will refund your last purchase but how can I ever even cancel my order if they won't answer the phone?
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friendView all 1 commentsHide comments

Call your credit card company to cut off approval of any future charges and send them, the supplement company, a certified letter cancelling your order and requesting a refund with a copy to the BBB and your credit card company.
