Because of the addition of Shea butter to this product (Shea butter is grainy and comes from the nut of the Karite tree in Africa), Crepe Erase does moisturize by sinking in deeper than other known nut butters, waxes, etc., thanks to to the fact that Shea butter does work its way into the top few dermal layers. HOWEVER, unless you live in a vat of Shea butter, you will not be purchasing a reliable product.
Save your money and buy some organic Shea butter, and a bit of beeswax, then melt them together at a ratio of about six parts of pure Shea butter to one part beeswax (use granules, they are easier to work with, but make sure they melt completely). You can add cocoa butter or coconut butter if you wish, but Shea is the power behind the moisturizing properties of Crepe Erase. Jane Seymour, SHAME on you!
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
