Bombas Socks Reviews - Are They Worth the Price?

I have purchased both dress socks and calf socks and all I can say is it’s hit and miss. The socks are extremely comfortable and feel great, however, most of the pairs have holes in the heels. There is a problem with how these socks are made. You are basically just playing the lottery every time you buy a pair. The way the heels are sewn together is the problem. Straight out of the box some pairs already have holes, wear them a couple of times holes holes holes. Too expensive for these issues.

I saw a big hype on designer socks. My 7-year-old started to wear tennis shoes more. I remembered socks being uncomfortable at times. So I bought Bombas socks. I have a baby on the way and wanted to get matching Sesame Street socks. I received the package and it was cute but the socks were only okay. For the price of one, you can buy a more comfortable pack of Hanes.

I love how Bombas no-show socks fit and feel but at $12 a pair these fall apart. I purchased them since they have a “lifetime” guarantee BUT it was a HUGE hassle to get the replacements and they shorted me on those. I feel like the quality has gone down even further because the replacements didn’t last 6 months and after the hassle on the first round, I’m looking for a new brand.

Ordered socks and they never came. I went several times to their Contact Us and filled out a form with no response. They do not have a phone or live chat that I can call, so I have nothing I can do.

I’ve bought numerous pairs of Bombas socks including calf, ankle, and hiking. Some were wool, but most are cotton.

My calf socks are doing okay because I don’t wear them very often, but all of my wool socks wore through within 9 months to a year. The same thing happened to my husband’s wool socks. I had my wool ones replaced with cotton ones, which required all of my replacement credit plus another $20 to $30 because the price had gone up. The replacement socks wore through again and I got another set of replacements for more money. The final ones that I’m using now have only lasted about 1 year but only because I’m careful to rotate which ones I wear. They are beginning to wear through but I’ve decided not to replace them anymore. I’m just using them as rags at this point.

The socks are definitely supportive and hold their shape, but not worth the money in terms of durability versus price. I’ve never had any problems with holes in any other socks that I’ve purchased, especially after a year or less.

I almost wonder if the warranty and low durability are to encourage you to come back and spend more money. I definitely had to pay more for all of my "warranty" replacements.

I got a raise at work and to celebrate, I purchased 6 pairs of large cool-looking Bombas. It was winter, so I ordered the ones that are worn mid-calf. I am an average-sized female, slightly muscular legs, but not over the top. To my disappointment, I can't wear the socks. They cut off the circulation to my feet by pinching my calves too tight. They leave deep red circles around my leg as of I wore a rubber band all day. I gave them to my partner who is 5"2' and 130 lbs, with much smaller feet and calves. She can't wear them either. Same issue. Every now and again we suffer a small financial loss such as this and we move on. I have donated the socks to the local shelter hoping someone can wear them comfortably. It was worth a shot I guess.

I wanted to like this company, but their customer service is terrible. My order was received with missing items. I tried calling, but their message says they are "too busy" to answer. I've emailed several times and no response. I understand someone can make a mistake - but there should be some sort of customer service either by phone or email.

They immediately charge your credit card. I have never received the socks, customer service sends an automated reply, and you are unable to speak with anyone should you be lucky enough to find a phone number. I would give this company no stars, they just steal your money.

I love these socks! I have neuropathy in my feet. Regular socks bother my feet. The seams hurt my toes and the rougher material makes the whole bottom of my feet hurt after rubbing on them all day. Bombast socks are softer and the seams don't bother me at all.

Highly recommend these socks!

I don’t know you reviewers, but I’m convinced you’re either crazy or we have ordered completely different socks. Also, if you’re wearing them with boots, why do you care if they’re no shoe? My calf high socks don’t show in boots. So since 2013, I’ve had 12 plus pair of the ankle and calf socks (plus my husband orders dress socks in size Medium). He’s also ordered 12+ pairs of ankle and calf socks. They’ve basically replaced all other socks. We are thrilled with how they fit. And no, I don’t have teenage 16-year-old calf/legs. These fit me when I was 5'7" and 128 pounds just as well as when I was pregnant and 168 pounds. I’ve worn holes in two pairs but they were five years old by then. Bombas replaces them! Even though I routinely wore these ones outside on concrete and gravel.

I started buying in 2013, when they had the limited edition released around Christmas time, and GAP actually carried Bombas in store. Those limited edition color ones (baby blue and hot pink solid color calf high) are still in shape and comfy; they fit well and are hole-free.

I’ve emailed customer service twice looking for color combos or about multi pack questions and they’ve always responded quickly. I know for certain I’ve spoken to a live human with a real voice who has answered real questions. Bombas are amazing. The only con about them is that they last so long I begin to tire of the colors and want new socks just for the fun of it.

Purchased 4 pairs of brown men's dress socks a couple of months ago. 1st pair got a hole in toe after 2 washings. Now a second pair has a rather large hole in the ankle area. Will not pay a premium price for socks that last a couple of months again.
