Disappointed cost. Product is questionable.

By Deborah Bailey, Pinole, CA, Verified Reviewer

I couldn't wait to try this line. Upon arrival, I was very disappointed about the size of foundation. I did everything by the book. I found this product does not stay on all day. To order more foundation was outrageously expensive. The only way to get more product was to become a member and accept auto ship. I am told you can buy all the products at a store with the exception of foundation and concealer. I canceled immediately. I don't recommend it. I know there are other products that are as good or better than Bye Bye.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not for older skin

By Julie M., Virginia's Blue Ridge, Verified Reviewer

I am 69 years old, don't have a lot of lines/wrinkles, but the Bye Bye Foundation, while it covers, also accentuated aging skin. I just couldn't stand the look and had to remove it and put on my L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation. The IT company was lovely about canceling future orders, absolutely no pressure. I don't think I would even pass the makeup on to my daughter in her 40's. It is a heavy look and we are casual/outdoorsy.

Not worth the money

By Kim, California, Verified Reviewer

I purchased what I thought was the 5-piece introductory kit for $39.95 (1 installment) and was sent a full size kit - for 3 installments of $39.95. If I would have loved, or even liked the products, it would be a good price, however, the product is sub-par at best. I have light skin but decided to try the medium. Thank goodness I did, as the medium Bye Bye Foundation is light. I did not like the coverage or how it blended. The powder was ok, but if you want that type of loose powder, Bare Minerals is better and costs less. The mascara was horrible! I had to put 4 coats and it still didn't look like I had much mascara on. Any brand, any drug store, is better than this one.

I called customer service and asked why I was being charged 3 installments vs the 1 time charge of $39.95 and was told the kit I ordered and received was the full size at the higher price (and was on a subscription). I explained that I clicked a link for the intro kit. She said that it happens a lot and is confusing to most customers. I kind of feel like it was a bait and switch. When I said I did not like the products enough to spend the $129, she offered me 20% off to keep them. I declined, still don't want the products at 20% off. I was then informed I have to pay return shipping. Not real pleased with IT Cosmetics.

Doesn't do what it claims!

By Nita, NC, Verified Reviewer

I had very high expectations. I counted the days for my delivery. I was very excited yesterday when I got home from work and saw that my package arrived early.

I ran into my bathroom and started applying my new makeup.

Not full coverage, not what I expected. The other products in my package seemed to really work though, but not the Bye Bye Foundation.

I give it from 1-10 about a 5. Looks ok, feels nice, but doesn't cover like expected. I'll stick to my store brought foundation.

Bye Bye Foundation was okay but I expected better coverage.

By Linda Auchard, New York, Verified Reviewer

I purchased Bye Bye Foundation last month. I was so excited after watching the commercial and seeing the results. I was very happy with the eyeliner, highlighter, and powder, but not the foundation. It didn't cover as well as the commercial showed. I have only slight redness and a small freckle that I needed to cover, and my regular foundation covered just as well.

Not what I expected, but

By Rachelle, Pittsburg, California, Verified Reviewer

So, I suffer from bad acne. Thanks to Proactiv and getting out of my raging hormonal teen years, I hardly have blemishes anymore, but now I have these awful acne scars and some marks. I'm always on the hunt for the next best thing to cover my face flaws up as best I can. I saw the adds on TV constantly, so I figured hey, why not.

I was stuck between ordering "medium" or "tan" because I'm kinda in between, but ended up choosing medium since it being winter and all, and to my surprise, it matched pretty well. I like this foundation, but it's NOT for someone like me. It's too light, and it doesn't cover the way I'd hoped. But then again, I have high expectations for foundation coverage considering my situation.

I actually have a $6 bottle of Glamoflauge cover up from Walmart that does a better job of covering up for a fraction of the price! This product is too pricey for me as well, and I didn't like how I'd be getting the lipstick every month.

Not what I was Hoping For

By Camila Moreira, Rio, Brazil, Verified Reviewer

I feel so let down! It's not a bad product, but for the price, it should be amazing, and it's not. You can get a cheap CC cream that will do the same thing.

Not worth the money

By Jennifer Boyce, North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

I just had to try it based on seeing how well it worked on the commercial. The foundation does not cover at all like they say it will. I will say that it feels really good on my face, and it definitely has a moisturizer feel to it. But the coverage is not good. I have since bought Almay Smart Shade CC cream for $7, and it works way better. Sorry, IT Cosmetics.

Too little!

By PJ, New York, New York, Verified Reviewer

I got the 30-day trial supply. The foundation is only 0.51 oz, and half the tube was empty! It wouldn't even last a week. I looked up to see how big the 90-day supply was, and it's only 1.08oz! That is barely double of the supposedly 30-day supply.

I don't mind the cost and frankly, the foundation feels good, but I don't like their sneaky way. So I am definitely canceling!

Beware of ordering hype

By G. Guest, Ventura, California, Verified Reviewer

I knew this $39 promotion had auto-ship but did not realize the products were trial-sized. The ordering agent had a foreign accent not easy to understand, so asked for much repeating. Good thing!

In rapid conversation, she kept pushing different offers, and one was for "full sized" products, at repeated $39 charges to equal about $150. It was so confusing, I finally put my foot down, that I ONLY wanted the original offer, at $39. Period.

Previously, I had purchased an IT product at Ulta in Medium, which I found to be too light and pasty. So I ordered this promotion in Tan, which I find too dark for my olive skin tone.

The concealer should be in a lighter tone, at the least.

So, what I received was the Bye Bye Foundation, concealer, and mascara in trial sizes, think "TRAVEL sizes." The Illuminator for pores, don't know if that is a trial size, but adequate to last for a while.

You MUST wear a primer, or it will settle into your wrinkles and make them more obvious. I have a couple of dark spots (not very) on my chin that it doesn't cover, even with extra application. I do wear a serum and Vitamin C cream as well prior to using the Foundation, and my skin feels heavy with the product.

The lip-whatever is full-sized, and is off-white in color and is (I suppose) to change to pink on lips. Sort of like those lipsticks that change color depending on your body chemistry. If your lips are already "pink," you will see no difference. It just acts like a lip balm.

The gifts of Vitality Disc of blush appear to be full size, and also the brush.

As far as the charges, auto-ship and full-size hype, this is my solution: As soon as I received an email that the product had shipped, I called and canceled the whole thing. I will pay the one-time charge for what I received, but no more. Keep your confirmation email of cancellation. Most card companies will deal with excessive charges, but not PayPal. It remains to be seen what shows up on my bill next month.

I say "yes" as a recommendation (cannot opt out), only because the brush is full-sized and the product is useful for travel. All-in-all, it is worth the $39 (plus shipping, of course, about $6).

Would never recommend!

By Charity, Michigan, Verified Reviewer

The makeup is alright, but Younique covers far better. The price is insane; we're talking over $150 for seven pieces. When asked to stop shipments, they sent more three months later and charged my card again!

I would never recommend this to a friend! There are better products with NO commitment.
