Not everything it claims

By Teri, Tallahassee, FL, Verified Reviewer

After a long and exhausting decision I decided to purchase the IT Cosmetic line at Ulta, as the return policy is great and no gimmicky sales are involved.

I'm very disappointed in the Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+. Reasons: it goes on heavy thick and feels just as heavy, it's shiny to. It does not cover as well as what the pitch says, it highlights wrinkles and does not cover small dark freckles, etc.

Superhero Mascara: This goes on clumpy, the wand would be better if curves and smaller bristles were on it. I had to use my other curved fine bristle wand to apply the Superhero. It flaked too.

Lipstick: it doesn't stay on but 5 minutes, leaves my lips feeling dry.

The IT You Sculpted: This is okay if you're looking for slight definition. Beware it's a pain to brush out if you've messed up.

Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof Concealer: A pin sized amount goes a long way, which is great but removing it is a pain.

Confidence in a Cream Moisturizing Super Cream: A dab of this very, very small product goes a long way. The smell is nice, however I'm not impressed.

Vitality Cheek Flush: Not bad, this is like the rest of the blushes on the market. My recommendation is good for this, but save your money and purchase one that's not so pricey.

Build a Brow: It seems to do okay, it's thick and goes a long way. It stays on and so far no issues with this.

Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder SPF: This comes with the sponge in it, nicely laid out design of this product. I like the option of applying with a brush or sponge. It does come off on clothes, etc., when it comes in contact with anything, and this is not a pain to wash off. It doesn't cover everything like its counterpart foundation cream. And it's not as bad with wrinkles to.

Both the liquid and powder instruct you to apply after two hours of being outside in any type of situation where you get wet, sweat etc. Sorry, but I'm not doing that, what a pain right.

IT Brushes: They are fantastic.

The Your Contour Must Haves Airbrush Sculpting and Highlighting 2 Piece Brush Set: Don't purchase this if you get the IT Brushes from Ulta, the brushes in the large kit are better. So to purchasing the contour kit brushes is a waste of money in my opinion.

This product line might be for someone that is younger than me, I'm 50, and who doesn't have a large pore problem, or wrinkles and for a non-outdoor woman, or better for someone that stays inside a majority of the time.

I'm taking a majority of everything back to Ulta today, I have my receipt, the boxes that everything came in and I'm still within the 60 day return policy window, about one week left actually. This is the first time I've left any review anywhere.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

IT Cosmetics, Bye Bye Foundatiuon

By Sam, Verified Reviewer

Not only did it dry my skin out, they tricked me into purchasing a second starter kit for triple the price of the first kit by sneaking an autoship auto charge in the fine print. I'm furious because I don't have that extra money to spend and I only needed one starter kit! I think they're sneaky people. I will not buy from this company again because of their crooked nature.

Customer Service was horrible!

By Donna Colburn, Texas, Verified Reviewer

On 7/11/2016 I called the Customer service number to verify the return address. I was returning the items as I didn't feel this make up was for me. I spoke with Becka, she was rude, tried to talk over me, I asked her to stop talking while I was talking, she said I was over my 60 day return policy (which I was not) and that I would be charged another payment.

I told her that I would stop payment and she told me that I could possibly go into collections. I said even if I return the items my account would still be charged, she said yes. I asked if this was being recorded because she was rude, she said all calls are recorded. I asked if she had a employee number because I was going to write a bad review on the customer service and she lied again saying she doesn't.

I called back and spoke with Trevor (agent #2295649) who was VERY helpful, he said my 60 day deadline was on July 20th and that I still had time to return the items and that my account would not be charged.

He said after I get my tracking number to call back and give it to customer service which I did, I spoke with Ben (agent #2295501), he wrote down my tracking number and EVEN extended my 60 day deadline to be sure the items would arrive on time.

This Becka person should be fired! She does NOT belong in Customer Service. She is a liar! She lied stating I would be charged another payment and the rest of the balance or possibly go into collections, she said I was passed my 60 day deadline. She said she did NOT have a identification number.

Listen to the call because all calls are recorded for training purposes. Well Becka should listen to herself and see how she is NOT professional, she does not need to be in this line of work. Even employees of McDonald's are more polite and courteous than her.

Do Not Purchase!

By Marti, Moorpark, CA, Verified Reviewer

I strongly recommend that you do not purchase this product! I reluctantly used a Visa Gift Card to purchase the foundation after watching an infomercial. Right after purchasing I decided to check out the reviews on the product. Backwards planning!

From reading the reviews I learned that I would be sent the product monthly and billed monthly. I had no idea that I wasn't making a one time purchase. I don't think the infomercial made that clear and I certainly wasn't made aware of that when I made the purchase. That in itself I believe is fraudulent. I called immediately to cancel my order.

I was told it would take a few days and then the money would be credited back to my card. During my third call I was told by the clerk that he would put me through to a supervisor because he wasn't sure how gift cards were credited. She told me my card had never been charged which was untrue.

Now it looks like I'm out the money. Please do not buy from Bye Bye Foundation or It Cosmetics through their infomercial.

I wasn't too pleased with the company

By Russ, Verified Reviewer

Make up is mediocre. Once they get your credit card, they continue to charge it every month. I had to cancel the card to get the charges to stop. DO NOT BUY!

Easy to try, great costumer service and I love their products.

By Jenn, Mesa, AZ, Verified Reviewer

I purchases the start up kit with the trial sizes after trying the It Cosmetics CC cream that I purchased at ULTA. Both the CC cream and the Bye Bye foundation are light weight and easy to apply. Once on, they felt like there was nothing on my face and both stayed on all day. Love, love, love the Bye Bye Pores powder. It is magic and is less expensive and lasts longer than other high end products I have used. I was not a fan of the concealer as it has a shimmery look but loved the face contour disc and brush that were free with the $30 trial. I purchased this in March and the only thing that just now ran out was the foundation. This is 4 months later! When I called to cancel because I was not in need of the next shipment yet, they said I could just postpone shipment for a few months while I tried the product longer, which I did. I decided that I like the CC cream just fine and can buy it locally and cheaper than the foundation so I called today to cancel and it was easy and painless and there were no hidden fees for canceling. Overall I have had a great experience with this company and it's products.

Don't Waste Your Money

By M Flynn, IL, Verified Reviewer

I've suffered from Rosacea for most of my adult life. I've tried everything to cover my redness and flare ups. I use topical and oral medications but it's not a cure. I got caught up in the Bye Bye Foundation infomercial one morning and was convinced it would work by the demonstrations shown. Not so. They claim it's "buildable" but after trying four applications it only slightly covered my redness. By the time I arrived at work it was fading. It made my nose turn very oily all day and required me to use powder to cover the shine. The demonstration of the women sitting in the audience wiping the foundation from their faces and then reapplying without a mirror is bogus. NO WAY. I'll be returning my 5 piece kit. (The only thing in the kit that I liked was the lipstick.) Another expensive rip off. I'll tell you, though, that some good came out of it. I've purchased Maybelline Superstay Better Skin for a fraction of the cost with the best results I've ever had. It DOES cover in one application but is buildable as well. So in the end I am happy.

Nice but expensive

By Nancy Dorothy , FL, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the Try It Now kit and I really liked the foundation. It did cover my brown spots nicely. I knew I didn't want to have a continuous shipment, so I canceled all future orders. I reached customer service with no problem. It was very easy to cancel. I also really liked the lip moisturizer which is a color that matches your lips. I can't believe that the foundation is $78 by itself however and I will be looking for an alternative foundation. They do sell this brand of cosmetics at Ulta Beauty.

Another fraudulent sales scheme

By Nona, Los Angeles, CA, Verified Reviewer

I purchased their TV offer -- 5 products for about $50. Two problems: first, the products were all sample size. Yes, they charge for samples. Seriously. Second, and worse than that, a month later they shipped me some full-size products for about $165, without my ever ordering them. I imagine that it says somewhere on their site that if you order the introductory stuff, they'll send you additional product later. But if so, it's not obvious. It's been a long time since I fell for a marketing scheme like this, but it's still as annoying as ever.

This really IS way too good to be true. Beware!

By Sally Vincent, Lancaster, PA, Verified Reviewer

I was given this product from a friend of mine and asked to try it since she really was disappointed. So I did and one day was more than enough.

From the second that I applied it with my finger tips I hated the feeling on my face. Slippery and heavy. None of my fine lines or dark spots were covered and so because the product is advertised as "build able". I applied a second coat. Horrible feeling.

Because I was working a shorter day than normal, I decided to try it for the rest of the day. Big mistake. Within an hour, an oily shine emerged and by four hours all product was gone and it looked as if I was wearing nothing at all.

The infomercial mentions nothing about customers with oily, slightly oily or can be oily skin problems. Trust me, this product is a huge NO!

BEWARE that also you are agreeing to auto-ship purchases in the future as it declares in small writing beneath the plus shipping and handling on the screen.

Also, the infomercial is for the single product of the "Bye-Bye Foundation" YET as it goes on, it becomes obvious that in order to achieve the final look, the entire line must be purchased. Sneaky and just wrong.
